Re: Enduring Guard, Defensive formation, pro stance

I think you guys are nuts. Enduring guard drastically reduces the damage I take. With it on I can comfortably solo doomclaw without I don't stand a chance.
wow you are a really crappy warrior lol
a lvl 80 5* would take maybe a....fully luxed lvl 130 to take down

and you obviously dont know anything about enduring guard
it helps you EVADE attacks
it DOES NOT help you REDUCE DAMAGE

srry but there are a few things u have wrong, the first is he didnt say Enduring guard reduces damage he said it reduces the damage he takes during the fight which if u evade a skill due to enduring guard the damage during the fight taken goes down. So in a way enduring guard reduces damage just not in the way u think. Also depending on gear, lux and stats it could take a bit to kill doomclaw solo for all we know is he may have 2k hp or less, low armor and uses frenzy instead of stance. All of those variables matter and could change how things happen. I do stand by my original statement and stay its not worth it because i can never tell the difference in a fight i evade a skill just as often without enduring guard as much as when i have it.

Hmm, getting slightly off topic with some of the posts. Anyway to OP.
I wouldn't use enduring guard ever. Max your defensive formation and stick a few points into protective stance. That way you have a very high defence, which is good for helping you avoid getting hit and a decent armour rating which helps reduce the damage that you take. Given doomclaw's drops suck then I don't see why anyone wants to fight it these days - except to take a wisdom lix and spend some time getting your willpower or vigour abilities up a bit. Anyway, good luck with whichever skill mix you go for.
