Well I went through all the names, and so far I've only seen five names changed to the dark green. Good luck to everyone who applied, and congratz to the people who have gotten their name changed to that color.

I can't wait to see if I get in sadly when I started using the frorums the first beta applications ended maybe I can get in with my old freind shagg. I would also like to congratulate all who have already gotten in good luck and have fun with the game!

In response to the original question... How long does it take? Based on previous betas beta will take as long as it takes... Best guess 2-3 weeks to find all bugs a week to fix and 1-1.5 to get apple approval. Figure 3-5 weeks from testflight launch (when we get to actually play beta) and your probably as close as you can get. Being a massive update that probably doubles or more the game content... Who knows.
Beta testers will try to test as fast as possible as always. . . We like playing it live too, we fall behind as we test.

To be fair, there was never an original question in this thread about how long it takes. This thread was merely put up because at the current time there was no information relative to the beta application process and it's timeline. But that's been amended and I am thankful.

Thanks though for the info Nasim, based on the perceived starting time of test flight being not for another week as gauged by the Admin's comments then it could easily seem that this "February Update" is really looking much more like an "April Update."

That to me, is sad, but if the game is well tested and well made, I suspect the many that drift away will return once it releases.

Yes I totally agree if this slips to April I will not be happy at all - we really need to get it out in March, if necessary we can do a 3.1 update adding more content a month or so later. As you say, if the update slips into April we will have lost a fair number of players who ran out of content a while back and are loyal enough to still be playing (which I am very grateful to them for). So yes March it is or you will see a very grumpy admin!
