I was training by Mordis and it dawned on me that Mordris reminds me of dragon from Shrek. Especially with all that gold!

The piles of gold in Mordris' cave reminds me of Smaug from The Hobbit.

Although you're right in saying Mordris does look an awful lot like the dragon from Shrek. Perhaps they are sisters?
