The way the ranks are spaced out is designed to make spamming pointless. The ranks are incredibly far apart and based around groupings of how many forumers tend to pool around certain numbers of posts. It's just a bit of fun and gives us a bit of a CH theme to the forum. Posting your way to a new rank with that purpose in mind would be rather time consuming and I don't see you guys doing that because you all have a certain game to play, dont you?

... On the other hand if there's one thing drives us MMO players to distraction it's any kind of leveling system! Oh well, if you all go mad we can take it back out again. And before you ask, no, there will be no plat for ranking up on the forum
