The Crookback Raiders have stormed the castle gates, and have easily beaten down the Farcrag guards. To show their might they have boisterously taken the Arena, and our Gladiators hostage. They have Called out a challenge to all of the heroes of Sulis... do you have what it takes to win back the Arena?
The Crookback Phule and his band of cronies have been scouring the land for decades reeking havoc on the residents of Lirs. They have amassed quite some wealth and have issued a challenge. If and only if you can take down their champion Phule, may you have a chance at looting some of their wealth.
Retribution presents, a Pre-Halloween Clan event!
This is a Free for All fight to the death, with no pre-requisites to join in the fun. We will be setup for 1 hour where you and your clan may engage Retribution's Crookback level 190 Boss and his platoon of goblin elites to gain prizes and loot.
We will not be using plat items such as idols or elixers (except our boss) and all of us playing mobs, upon our deaths we will remain dead until the Boss timer of 10 mins. After 10 mins we will reset the Boss, bring back his minions, and start anew.
If and only if our boss is taken down, will he let out a single random roll. This roll will determine what drop is given to the player who has downed him. (which will be clearly shown to him) Choose your group wisely if you plan to share the loot, because only the player that has the kill will receive it.
*The loot will be mailed to the individual after the event.
We highly encourage you to not use plat items. If we deem a player to have used excessive platinum to obtain the kill, we can, and will denounce that kill and carry on with the event like nothing happened. Yes this also includes idols and elixers. We want to have a healthy atmosphere where none of the participants take any loss, and only have a chance at gains. So don't waste your plat on this event, because if you do, you will ruin your chance of any drops.
*This warning will be shouted several times during the event. So claiming ignorance will fall on deaf ears.

*note some of the loot has limited stock, and once the loot is gone, your roll number will be rounded down to the next drop.
Overview & Event Rules
-FFA pvp in arena. First person to kill Phule earns a random roll for drops. (Phule will roll so no spamming rolls please)
-When the shout is made to Start the battle, You'll have a 10 minute timer. When the 10 minutes is up it is considered a Win for the goblins. We will reset for another battle as long as it is within the 1 hour of the event.
-Boss minions stay down until reset. *but keep in mind spells that revive Spring of Life, and the use of Play Dead.
-NO Platinum items are to be used. We will monitor players who use Plat and will disqualify them, and may even disqualify their clan as well.
-We will have two Referees over looking event, they will be wearing Pumpkin hats. Please refrain from attacking them.
-Do not wear a Goblin charm or Pumpkin hat! This is an instant disqualification
-We only ask for your cooperation and please listen to instructions on the day. If all goes well we may even make this a regular thing.
To defeat Phule, you will need cunning, strategy, and teamwork... do you have what it takes to become a hero of the Arena?
ps. apologies in advance if you just wanted to log in and complete your daily Gladiator quest.... the event will only last an hour, so you might as well charge in and enjoy the fun. Besides the Gladiators are hostages remember!
