if you are really basing on melee, SPELLS (firebolt, firestorm) are useless. but maxing double attack and including it in the build would be a good investment. and max the crush lure

doesnt double attack have class req? rogue, ranger and warrior isnt it?

Yes, the rings have class requirement on them. The tomes, however, do not. (Unless they were changed/fixed)

If you haven't tried the build, don't comment on it.

No, do not dump the cloak for shards, because Cloak is constant guaranteed damage, doubles your auto in a way, if shards is evaded you get nothing.

That is ridiculous. A 40/40 Firebolt (45 if you have gloves), + a 40/40 Fire Attune, + a fire lure will hit 2k+. Same with Firestorm.

Have you used a mage? 180+? Tried this build?

Again, if you haven't tried the build or it doesn't affect you (not a 180+ Mage), you don't need to reply.

This build is actually very affective, seeing raps post and as he's given me good builds before, I decided to try it out myself

And the results are:

I get 4-5 yellow bars solo lix which is actually more than what i usually get just using spells, the auto in this build is very effective and having cloak on makes it easier to transition mobs as i dont have to worry about finishing them off because cloak will do it for me. As mentioned above i am using 150 lux offhand wep, halloween ammy, halloween haste ring, and halloween resist brace, and a grand poison charm

My damage is a total of 1125 (1225 with reapers touch) which makes my auto range from 400-700, and the ammy cloak and my own cloak gives me about 200-250 constant damage to the mobs

I would recommend this for solo at 185+ but that is just me

Combos arent a must but they are very affective with saving heaps of pots

h2h is a good melee build which requires tons of gold on dmg gear
rad es bp + greaves recommended, dmg helm, axe offhand, dmg ammy, dmg rings and any dmg thing u can get

with maxed h2h, full fire gear (90+200+120+lets say 50 from charm + 100-200 from rings, or more if u got hungrir's, tons of dmg) and lure of fire, that will get u very high melee, but again hard to get
also would still suggest using haste elix, and the gloves will be dl or beastbone (boots idk, maybe beastbone if it adds firestorm), and while having the high melee, still use casts

the skills still do much higher dmg than melee, the melee is just extra dmg, using firebolt, firestorm, fireattune, firelure, and extra skill that u want, is always recommended even with h2h build


btw pre update someone tried to think about aggy trident mage build, could be hard to do tho, need to get lots of attack to actually have high melee, and the extra skill would be lure of assassins

I know that h2h is a viable build. Was just asking if it differentiates a lot from dragonlord weapon.

The Dragonlord Weapon also gives a +200 Focus boost to your skills.

H2H could work, whether or not the DPS will contend with DL weapon, I don't know.
