If your looking for frustration and everyone pointing and laughing at you by all means choose a mage they're wonderful. If not, choose a better class. Sorry just venting.
I thought I covered a mages armor with saying dead... Maybe I should add more deads to be realistic. Like a lot of you have mentioned each class has their own unique crappy characteristics about them, there's good and bad with all classes. One positive note when 75% of your attacks don't end in EVADE the dps is decent.
