Reason rangers are best to solo is u dont need cares or pots to stay alive like rouges do . We are talking about ranger and rouges in general not fully luxed out unlimited potsa md rez type unfathomable . Rangers solo better . If u can afford a rouge then go rouge

Rangers dont make very good tanks, but are still better than rogues.
I've tanked every boss up to and including sreng, also including aggy as a rogue. Haven't tried snorri but I'm sure I could.

Lol IK this is gonna start a giant war kinda the point. But, which is better in these selection?
1: dps
2: soloing
3: pvp (thats an easy one)
4: armor
5: skills
6: tanking
7: Bossing
8: and over all

And please none of that oh there good at different things. Thanks!

2: rogue cuz they have more dmg AND defence with fast reflexes
3: obviously rogue
4: same
5: rogue obviously

7: prob same cuz rogues are better dps but rangers are better support

i am the best ranger by for for Epona at my level. Only to compare would be seyla

With a spear build i can solo tank do dps and everything else

Thats what happens when you have every 150+ offhand.

Rangers are generally better, as they have bolas and light heal. WIth the right gear its possible to make any class at least a decent tank (maybe not mage). All the same I don't see tanking as a rangers or rogues role. Always been the duty of a warrior for me.

As a rogue, i would say this:
1.Rogue
2.Ranger
3.Rogue
4.Tie
5.Rogue
6.Rogue (rangers dont usually have a lot of hp because they want the dps and dex, and they have bolas which means better rogue tanking)
7.Ranger
8.Rogue
