Howdy,

Just started playing a couple days ago and had some questions. My playing time is limited so i try to make the most of the random times i can log on. I was wondering what the general opinion is regarding which class does the best solo. I know it is all about setup and gear, but since i have no lux items and maybe 1k in gold that can be thrown out. I have tried all the classes to around lvl 10 and a ranger to 20, but i would rather focus on one over playing across 5, for now. I like warrior, druid and rogue...any thoughts/tips?

Appreciate the help. i have found some very helpful peeps in game. Some random player, ten levels higher, just grouped with me and helped me lvl a few.

Rogue is the easiest class to level and arguably the most needed with the new boss.
Druids are always in demand and you can almost guarantee someone will want to level with you.
Warriors is the all round class, good damage but specialises in tanking bosses.

Try to keep in mind that a high level caster WILL require sigils to sustain casting, and are probably the hardest.

For soloing with no lux or plat starting out, I would suggest ranger. Rangers can kill at a decent pace, and have a nice light heal to heal you up. And you can learn the basics of the game by doing the mainline quest up until Stonevale. There are some great guides for quest lines, and also for each class in the classes section of the forums.

Definately ranger or rogue. Warrior is the best class for plat efficiency (using less) if you care about that aspect, but its much harder to level as a warrior.

You should start as a druid, because if u want to be a good healer, you will be easily in boss fights and easy to level and you will easily get a good amount of gold to start getting new lux
