Can someone please explain to me what is so great about this dubstep cr@p?! It just sounds like heavy music put together with a beat, but sounds horrible to the ears, and gives you a headache 5 minutes later

Agreed, a few of my friends are really into dubstep and I don't understand it. I mean sometimes the beat sounds cool to me but in most songs it's "BOWWOAHHHHHOWWWWWW BLPPPPPP"

Dubstep is not real music its just something to listen to.

First of all, not all rappers are monotone. I often hear some fluctuate their voices and even with the ones that are monotone the lyrics they can come up with are crazy good.

Anyways Metal/Screamo I really enjoy and occasionally rap and dubstep, it really just depends on the song.

Rap is stupid. Period. Metal and Screamo, "IM GOING TO RUIN MY VOICE BY SCREAMING INTO A MIC AND CALLING IT MUSIC!!!!!"
