warrior accord

#1
so, we are having a particular difficulty in getting warriors outfitted for a mordris fight. I am wondering what people think of a warrior accord. I envision something along these lines:

1. clan chiefs of the top clans that have 185+ warriors would have to decide to join (though some could decide to not join). Presumably, the clan chiefs will have spoken to their top warriors
2. The chiefs determine a 'outfitting order' - a list of warriors who get outfitted. so any red drop that goes to a warrior of one of the accord clans, would go to the top of the list automatically. Once outfitted, the next warrior goes to top of the list.
3. Presumably the list would take into account clan (so you dont have many in a row from one clan), level (do 190+ first, then 185-190, etc.), and active/camping (help outfit the warriors who are on, at battles, and putting in the time to get these drops).

clearly decisions would have to made on how you start once the list is generated - by that i mean to your forward drops from that point on or do warriors lower in the list immediatly give up drops they have to finish off someone else.

just a thought that might speed things up for everyone - but this has to be a clan level thing to be successful, so we need the input of the chiefs.

any thoughts.

Please, only warriors (high level) and chiefs should reply as it affects them.

wasnt it originally supposed to be that the highest levels would be outfitted first, then we would work on the lower leveled warriors? somewhere along the line the rules were changed so that people who dont need dragonlord can dice for drops? Why? what could anyone do with a dragonlord drop that would benefit them? once you have the armor there is no point. the old system should be re invoked. no need to worry, just only dice to those who need that particular dragonlord item. we cant keep having ppl horde drops or give them to lower level friends.

akbar,

your way works too, but it should be applied to ALL CLASSES and it must be enforced. too many higher level toons who can fight mordis are being skipped over and lower lvls are getting dragonlord parts the second they take the quest. its just ridiculous how this works and its only prolonging the time before lugh can fight mordis.

this thread is about warriors. the other classes seem to be sorting things out well enough - likely cause there are far fewer of them. afaik, all the highest level (active) rangers are dl armour, about half have the wep, and a 2 have offhand.

Although I am neither a warrior nor clan chief, I feel I should speak for Aftermath (since our chief is a warrior and might be considered biased).

I think we should do this. Without naming names, I have seen several warriors get DL items before our two 190+ warriors have without camping nearly as much. Neither has weapon--never mind offhand. I understand it's a pain to camp (believe me--I UNDERSTAND), but the drop distribution is looking pretty lopsided IMHO.

Other than Callator obviously, I dont know how many crowns are in my clan. Im not sure what if anything he owes still as he had alot of help getting where he is. Magicm is next along with Cecilkain for weapons. We prioritize level. I still do not have mine as a high level rogue yet some lower levels and much newer people have theirs (and offhand) I don't have an issue with helping Waio as she has always helped our clan when we've asked. I know o8o has worked hard to lvl up to 192 and camps alot. Unless we know what's out there we can't start to move our clan's items towards the people who should be getting theirs. I will speak to my clan and see what we can do. For the most part, you shouldnt ever see anyone in exultantis with weapon before armor or weapon before 185+. We are definitely trying to build for Mordris.

Good idea Ak,
I think Syndicate clan already has this system for their warriors, with a queue system for fitting warriors with DL armour.
However, for max effect, I am still not convinced that getting DL shield to those with armour and sword necessarily would be a better priority than getting more warriors with wep. The DL shield is obviously better than the lvl 150 lux shield, and very helpful for pure tanks, but the DL sword is such a giant leap in effect compared.

This is a very good idea of course it does not apply to me but i will help out where i can to outfit fellow warriors atm all i owe is a crown to callu and a crown to 1d but yet i still get w from lower lvls have i got this have i got that towards dl armour you also see it in shout also so chiefs will have to inform lower lvls that this would have to stop and go by the warrior accord im helping callu get his shield seeing as me and him are and will be the two main tanks. Warriors in clan who i know have got a crown each are magicm and cecilkain but magicm will be the next warrior to go for the swd in clan. Lets hope this takes off and works out with everyone :D
