I am sorry that everyone thinks leaving the clan was about drops because that was absolutely NOT the reason that I left. The new system was actually a complete benefit for me. I am the highest player so I automatically started with the most points plus I make it to every Hrungnir, Mordirs, and eventually Necro fight. I would have had plenty of points to bid on whatever I chose.
The reason that I left Revenge was because the lack of respect could no longer be tolerated. If you feel you need to put others down to make yourself feel better then it is what it is but I no longer chose to stand around and listen to it. That is why I left Revenge. It was either him or me and I was not about to force that decision.
Re: Bitter sweet
#23Not all clans fall. You will find that many long-standing clans in the game are not about loot and thus persevere and continue to exist longer than high level clans who formed only because of loot.Bummer to see. Unfortunately, all clans fall.
Rev did great things but they took on a lot of ppl that were hungry for gear. I have SS's of people leaving alaskr saying they are going to Rev to get gear. Its too bad, but this was probably the downfall. Too many people just thristy for gear. When Rev was its strongest, it seemed like the drive wasnt for gear.
Clan hoppers never make for great members. They can bring a clan down from the inside. Thats what happens with most clans and it sounds like thats what happened here.
I understand that majority of the game is about obtaining loot, but it takes a rare group of people who put the clan's needs first before their own, understanding that they can help themselves only if the clan comes first - every time.
I can see how "clan hoppers" as you labeled them brought down Revenge, I've witnessed the same thing in most of Morrigan's high level clans in the last 2 years.
Re: Bitter sweet
#24Umm.... Let's clarify Felicity is not talking about me. I had respect for everyone in revenge. Revenge was my family and I had respect for everyone in it. There are no limits to what I would have done to protect it.I am sorry that everyone thinks leaving the clan was about drops because that was absolutely NOT the reason that I left. Re: Bitter sweet
#25This is to those who care. We (the generals) were 50/50 on the point system. There was a solutionto this problem that would had worked for all but only a handful had faith in my leadership to fix this. To those who stayed thank you for having faith in me. I spent more of my time in update 4 playing through the night the only person from the US playing with the non-US people. We held it down, and killed king snorri a lot. King snorri spawned most of the time while US players were sleeping. I say that to say this there is no way I would have ever used a system that wasn't fair for them and everyone else.

Re: Bitter sweet
#26and as far as it being about gear...it is about gear. Respect was put aside for a long...long time in favor of staying in a group that benefited them/her/everyone. Same people had no problem staying, telling others to be quiet, get along or 'just block them' but when it suited them they made the big moral decision to leave (in the process destroying the clan and disregarding/disrespecing a great number of people they claimed to have respect for). I'm sure this will offend someone...but hey...I get tired of everyone trying to pretend they were on the moral side of this issue. I saw people in the clan kicked for no other reason than they did not level fast enough to suit some gens idea of hard work. I saw no one making threats to leave when that was going on. No talk of family then. Be honest about what was going on.
