To the original OP even for English scholars there is a "heated" debate on the correct pronunciation for the word Celtic. Whether is should be pronounced with a K or as an S. When the experts can't agree I just go meh! I am going to pronounce it the freakin way I want To!!! I play KELTIC HEROES!

Now as for the metric system debate....
