Ok, so I grp lvl in ow with another mage and ranger, and the other mage is doing 1200dmg, and im doing 200. I have attune max, bolt and storm max, and lure 20/25. Idk whats happening, my lure is higher than theirs, and its like my attune is not working:/

gear? stats? mob's lvl and ur+other mage's lvl?
i cant believe ur doing just 200 dmg unless the mob is much higher lvl than u, even my lvl 73 mage can do 90-100 dmg on lvl 130 mobs, and on lvling he hits over 1k easily

Ok, so I am level 104 and the other mage is 119, and we level at the fortress outskirts on level 120 wraiths. My normal damage is 1500 with both storm and bolt. The other mage only has 20 skill points into storm and bolt, and her attune isn't even maxed. My attune is 30/25 with rings. And as far as I know, my lure is higher than hers as well.
My gear is as follows:
I have 306(421)foc and around 230 vit (not exact).
I have a masters grimoire and a +15 focus helm. I have celestial gloves and boots (helm too just not equipped), and loremantle greaves and gown. For rings, i have a royal recup, greater and lesser fire attune, and +50 energy. I have a bronze ammy of rejuv, a +6vit charm, and a resist 30 peice brace.
And, my fire ability is 1027/1040, so that doesn't make a difference.
P.S: the other mage has a focus of the seer, but it wouldn't add that much damage, right?

u would be surprised how much the focus makes a difference but I think its just the difference between your lvl and the mobs

Well, once I got my grimoire it only added about 40 damage, so I don't think it's that.

It's because you're over 10 levels below, even 15 levels. Your damage is too nerfed.

well that was just to annoy u, 113 dmg on rag with firebolt
well anyway, just as i said, theres a lvl factor on mobs, even if u can hit up to 5k dmg, if the mob is much higher than u, u will barely hit

i lvl at 170-174 bolgs room, i started there since 167-168, my dmg on the 173-174 ones was like 1.2k max with skill+shatter at that lvled, when i lvled to 170, it got back to 1.7k-2.3k dmg per skill

altough, 200 dmg is still bit odd to me, im pretty sure u hit higher than that, never tried but still way too low for 16 lvls difference as a mage, but maybe im wrong.
try to lvl at mobs around ur lvl

Thanks guys, and you probably are right, just the level difference, but leveling in a group with a mage and ranger it is quite easy kills and little hp gone with rangers bolas, and I still get 10k xp so I'll just stick with them to lvl.
