i dont think that it is the science itself that is wrong, just how we interpret it. i think that it is the cause of the dating problems of some things.

He did not let heathens populate it. They just started thinking that they could get away with more than they could. Every thought of all men was evil. This is why God purged the world. If He had not the earth those babies would have grown up to do evil things as well. Also, many times the sin of the parent will bring evil on the child. God never meant for Adam to have sinned in the first place. God never meant for them to be heathen, but they chose wrong over right because they thought that wrong would bring them more pleasure. But God will punish sin.
