So can we choose or not? How is random mutations being selected choosing?

I'm not saying that u should ignore the Old Testament. I was saying that since Jesus died on the cross for us, we do not have to obey the Law(the law of the Old Testament i mean) anymore. It is more the New Testament that u should be quoting from. The New Testament does not tell us to hate gay people. Am I saying that there r not Christians who may hate gays or blacks? No. But they are sinning if they do. But what i am trying to say is that the laws of the Old Testament are not applicable unless they are quoted in the New Testament. And the New Testament does tell us to love our neighbors( meaning everyone) as ourselves.

So I never really understood why people believe this. Did Christ mislead his followers for the first 1600 years? How could he die on the cross - then have people believe one set of scripture for 1600 years (killing gays the whole time) - then suddenly switch? Why the change 1.6 millennia in? What possible reasons would be given for a human king in Europe to make such sweeping changes to the direct word of god?

As it stands Christianity as whole has been advocating killing gays for 80% of their history and only recently has come around to thinking there may be a moral problem with this. I

Oh and since Jesus was obviously Arabic it makes me laugh every time I see a hardcore racist Christian (non-Arab) who hates Arabs. Gives me a good laugh.

It seems to me that u have never read the bible. The first law was in place for the Jews and those Gentiles who decided to become Jews(this means that the gentile agreed to follow the Jewish traditions). Also the reason that the first law was in place was because of sin. That is why the Jews sacrificed animals; to hide their sins. When Jesus died on the cross, because He was perfect and His dying wiped away our sins, it took away the need for the law. The new law was for Christians to follow. I will admit that many atrocities were committed in the name of Christ. These were wrong. The Bible teaches love not hate. Show me where, in the New Testament, it says to hate gays, blacks, Arabs, and adulterers. It tells is to show them love. They should not be allowed to be a member of the church, however. Another thing u aske was why God would tell His people to kill of other countries. This was because He was punishing the people who lived in those countries. You ask what kind of God would do this and you say that it is not fair. Actually it is more than fair. All of us ( all of us, even Christians and any true Christian should tell you this) deserve to go to hell. I mean think about it. Assuming He is real, He is all-powerful and always right and He created us. If we disobey Him that is rebellion. He would be perfectly right in killing all of us and yet He did not.

Another thing evolutionists should think about: If you guys are right and i am wrong then when i die i just stop existing. Not really a punishment, right? Well, just think. If somehow, someway i am right, then you go to hell for eternity. For me its a win/win situation. What is it for u?

Ok, lets just assume that the God and Satan of the Bible are real. It seems as if u think that God and Satan are equal. They are not. God is all-powerful. He created Satan for crying out loud. U really think that He would create a being more powerful than he is? I mean God is not stupid and this is something even a human would not do. U may ask why God has not killed Satan already. Satan was vanquished at the cross. He is still alive but he has no hope(not that he ever did). He will however keep trying to discredit the name if God. And as for the last part if ur post, if it is true that is very sad and very wrong. I have doubts that those missionaries were true Christians. As i have said before, many atrocities have been committed by those who name the name of Christ. Probably, 99.9 percent of the time(if not 100%) these people r not Christians.

I looked. You have no reason for why Christians had one set of texts for 1600 years. Then suddenly that was all bs and a new selection was made. Other than 'he died on the cross'.

There is 0 evidence for your god that's why the argument makes the same sense either way.

Christians are 32% of believers. The Christian god is one of thousands. Why should I believe in Jesus when he will murder me forever if I believe in other gods? The wager makes more sense to believe in buddhism and other gods who won't punish me so I can gang up on 30-50 gods increasing my chances. In fact that argument makes me more likely NOT to believe in jesus.

And yes the Christians went in and preached how condoms were evil and needlessly killed many people indirectly. They did not know what was real obviously they didn't intend to murder people (I hope). Not knowing what is real is extremely dangerous.

You asked me why we believed that the new testaments law was to be obeyed above the old. I told u. It does make sense. He died on the cross thus covering our sins. When i said that many people who call themselves Christians are not i meant out of those who would say that they would believe the bible not out of all religions. And talk about things that do not make sense. U do not want to believe in God because if u do not believe in Him, he will throw u into Hell. So u want to go to hell? Im not saying that u should believe in God because u are afraid of him. I am saying that in this argument it is ur soul that is at stake not mine. U should believe in God because u see why it makes more sense to believe in Him than to believe in other things. U ask why the Bible is still believed a couple thousand years after it was written. It is because it has been right in so many ways. But I will pray that your eyes will be opened. Because until then u will not see the truth.
