Re: Bench Warmer Class?

Doesn't even make sense. Yes it's true that Druids COULD be replaced by Potions, but no one would be dumb enough to waste over 20$ in potions just to get tablets.

MAGES on the other hand (as far as live version) is a decent damage dealer. Warriors can out damage it, rogues can out damage it, and even rangers can out damage it.

There is no reason to invite a Mage when there a rogue, a mages cloak is way underpowered to a rogues DPS and a rogues skills way over poweres ours (which is stupid IMHO)

But like Tea said, we're in Beta and this is bound to change, everyone including the Devs realize class balance is needed and were working on figuring out how to do that, when we try these new skills hopefully all classes have a solid role.

:D  .... Thats what a id think too!
I know for a fact that people on my server r willing to spend 40 euros ( thats 50$ :!: for the yankees) and more in one bossfight!
I even had arguments with them trying to tell them that i dont think thats good.

(theres q thread of a guy here in this forum where complains that he has to spend 100$ in two days to take down bosses and he wants them to be easier to save money :!:

People will spend money, no doubt about it. It's a good think too do the game will keep getting income, but if all bosses spawn I doubt anyone would spend 40$ for each, or there's a psychological problem with the person. To sum it up, Druids will always be needed in the game no matter what.

I love how yall are still focusing on druids witch in thus proves my point fully. I stated a question leaving my opinion asked for yours. I swear people dont read the topic at all you skip to the last post and see what it has to say and base your post off of it.

"What do you feal is the least needed class and why?" Thats the question at hand has nothing to do with druids.

Not taking into account the scrolls and pots and elixiers the most unneeded class always was rogues.
They r not specificaly good in tanking or healing. Most of their skills only serve themselves (fast reflexes, hide, sneak attack, aso)
Mages make great tanks with energy shield and health points.
Rangers can heal and bolas!
Warriors obviously make awesome tanks with their armour and dps and anger management.
And druids would be the most necessary cause they keep everyone else alive If it wouldnt be for those horrible pots!

IMHO, mages are currently the most unneeded class, but still useful. All the classes serve purposes that are both useful for soloing, or helping groups. I personally have been asked (on my druid) for help killing four-star enemies by people 12 levels higher than me, because they needed the little extra bit of heals. Rangers, Rogues, and Warriors all have good advantages, but mages seem severely handicapped. At lower levels, their energy boost is a nice help to druids, and cloak of fire is useful for anyone, but they run out of energy too quickly to effectively solo anything. These things make them both hard to level, and undesirable to group with. The class has lots of potential though, and a new skill or a power boost to existing skills would be useful I think.

Once I get to level 80, get full Green Shadow Armor, and get myself an icon, I'd be interested in having an artisic rendering of my character for my sig. :D

Mages only run out of energy without regen items.
Also one of the best tanks on our server is a lvl 98 mage and she kicks ass! :ugeek:

Lol

This thread here is a thread titled "Druids unneeded (Discussion)"
http://www.onethumbmobile.com/celticher ... eb04829211

It's the exact same comments, just almost copy/pasted into this thread given a wider scope, but filled with the same Druid op-Ed's

How are we supposed to not think yer talking about Druids? Its like standing in a courtroom and leading your witness.

There have been many comments lamenting both Druids and Mages since Update 2 came out and with good reason, but given some tweaking and testing in beta we hopefully can help the game craft 2 better classes and make more casters happy. Till then, these threads just pile lament on top of lament, for no constructive reason. one thumb mobile is in beta for their third update, they are trying to give their players what they all want... Let's just be patient and wait a bit.

Stop the madness

Its a well known fact that the classes that complain the most get the most attention. My main reasn is for update 3 i know the game is young and you cant change whats been implimented and being tested.

I can live through another update with the current givings, but im looking forward to update 4 were more damage based skills could be implimented to the Druid class.

I had some thoughts on some nature based damage skills that we could have for update 4, such as water, wind, earth such and such because you know as well as i do that lightning is not the only nature out there. I think it would be a good idea for pdate 4 to impliment a more damage base to our class.

And no the only reason it looks as though its a copy and paste is because no one is acually anwering the question they are just commenting on my opinion rather than giving thier own.
