It seems like the highest thing I got was 300 plat and that was once out of 20+ chests.


I'm just wondering if it's rigged or something

only advice I can give you, only buy chests the first day they come out
ANY day afterwards and they get nerfed... at least from observations, and I'd laugh if this gets "deleted for degrading the hard work of the developers", I don't know what other reason they would need to patch an event the very next day after its out

lollll their are bugs and glitches that need fixing like rangers losing quiver after equipping an item

They aren't luck, you only get a good prize if you stand outside in your underwear hopping on one foot while you open chests. :p

I do think there may be a change after day one of patch, but other than that, I think they are luck. I've had good batches and bad. I've gotten 5k or 5k plus wisdoms as many as four times in a row. But I have also gotten some great prizes.
Doesn't seem to matter whether I buy in batches of 100 or on batches of 10. Doesn't matter whether I open in lirs/castle/carrow when I open em, which toon I open them on, or whether Im outside in my skivvies.

For the fun of it, I buy my chests in lots of 10 cause I feel its more likely to get a good batch. And I have chests for longer. Following this belief I also roll dice, and if its over 60 I open a chest, because luck is in my favour. Lmao

Indeed, i don't think they are nerfed, because when samhain was almost over, i got 1 chest and it had 1k plat and fashion in it

nerfed as in more useless things are added lowering the chance for better things.
Nerfed doesn't mean you'll never get anything good

i bought 10 beltane chests eight after the event started and got 800 plat out of em. after the patch i opened 100 more and got 500 plat from them.

Honestly, I think people fail to realize the probability of actually getting something that you want. If you think about it, there are hundreds of combinations of items that you could possibly get and if you want to get 1 particular thing, your chances are probably less than 1%. It all comes down to whether you are lucky or not.
