Ok heres my question. I am currently a lvl 127 mage in Lugh and i would like to get more experience per elixir. I use super xp elixirs, with a heroic health and energy. I feel that i do not get a good amount of xp per lvl at my lvl. I get 2 bars per lix atm which i believe is terrible, although i have no clue how to get any more xp. Aroun 125 i got 3 bars per lix. For it to drop to 2 bars in such a short amount of lvls is insane to me, considering rogues that ive talked to get 4-6 bars per elixir using only hastes and super xp. Most mages ive spoken to got around 3 bars per at my lvl, and i would like to at least do the same.
Heres my build:
705 focus with gear
200 vit with gear
everything else is 5
the skills:
firebolt 39/30
firestorm 34/30
fire attune 35/30
fire lure 17/30
e shield 21/30
ice shards 8/30 due to aggy bracelet
gear:
silver wizard crown (40 focus)
diamond bp and pants
onyx gloves and boots
spectral ammy
aggy bracelet of ice shards and vitality
aggy bracelet of fire bolt and vitality
grand firestorm
grand firebolt
greater and lesser fire attunement
someone a while back said mages were the fastest levelers. i want to know how. i kill enemies pretty quick and efficiently i think and i rarely die. i currently level on the 130 boggans and they are easy just far apart. the 4* rooms are very difficult for me.
Re: How to Increase Elixir XP
#2Your build looks pretty well set up.
All i'd say is try to work on your quest armour.
I dont know the prices of lixers on your world, but you say your using a super xp (4k) a health (1.5k) and an energy (1k) = 6.5k.
Try save up a bit and go for a good deal on say 40-50 combos, you should be able to get a good discount if youre patient for maybe 7.5k per combo (throw in a bit of boss hunting in between to make up the extra)
You will level faster on a combo as you defence is increased, as will your armour, attack RUN SPEED and everything else (and even more so if you do your quest armours).
In that case you may be able to go 150 vit and 755 foc and hit a bit higher
Dont be scared to go real low foc, if you plan to have eshield maxed - my base vit is 10, foc 1600 (yes its a bit extreme but almost lvl 196 now, and dont die)
You say your sturrgling on 4* mobs your level. This is a problem for every mage. My suggesttion, is to cast your eshield IMMEDIATELY after killing a mob, so by the time your killing the next 4* one, you can recast a second eshield.
You dont talk about your ammy and charm in your post, however (if you can afford it) buy the 1m ammy (focus 100). this ammy will also grant you the skill Ice Barrier (which acts like a 5 second eshield) ice barrier makes the casting of a second eshield uninteruptable when barried is on (dont tell admin), so its a good little thick for the 4* mobs you talk about.
other than that, you cant to a lot to improve your current build.

Re: How to Increase Elixir XP
#3Just as confirmation, you have a solid build and I see no reason why you don't get that much experience.
One way to increase xp gain over an elixir, is to grab a group of people around your level and demolish a boggan cave. I was getting an easy level per 4 lixes at level 150 doing this.

#4Yep. Get yourself some assassin lure rings and group with a rogue (and druid?) and blow up rooms, supplementing the rogue's dps. You'll do much better per lix and can use sks instead of scs.Just as confirmation, you have a solid build and I see no reason why you don't get that much experience.

Re: How to Increase Elixir XP
#5idk how u get low xp, u have pretty good build
what i would do ofc is getting better rings over the lesser and greater fire attune, one royal and even one grand as well (but at least a royal, helps a lot)
combos is also something i suggest, overall dps for mage will be really low if u die a lot due losing fire attune, with combo u will die much less and u will be able to keep fire attune on most of time (or all of the time) and wont get ur dps decreased
groups are also a great option, as a mage u dont need warrior in ur group, and ik that most of warriors dont go full dps so i wouldnt suggest u to lvl with one, druid will be great for heals but ofc lower xp (dps druid isnt the best lvling partner as well), rogue is prob the best choice, if u can get in assassins lure it will be great, a strong ranger will be great as well, decent~high dps along with high heal
