mobs extremely extremely extremely rarely drop skills i think
ive never gotten one meself though so i dont really know ._.

but warcry/firestorm i know definitely drop off otherworld bosses

I have found rupture off a pirate once in fingals, very rare I suppose. :/

5* Mini bosses are a good way to get tomes as they always drop a tome or ring 3,4,5 in sewers, fingal, carrow, or otherworld. Any mob can drop them though - more * means a better chance.

I've killed thousands of pirates - when you are high level you can aoe kill a room or area of them in one go - my favorite way being to use riposte. Never gotten a rupture. But tomes drop every so often maybe as good as 1/50 off 4* mobs.

This is pretty useful for people looking for skills, I had no idea where double shot, long shot or natures breath was and i needed for my noob alts, thanks for this post!

When you say Dunskeig Sewers, do you mean the south section where the outcasts are or the north section, also known as the Murky Vaults? I've killed numerous outcasts and not a single tome has dropped for me. We're talking thousands here.
Bad luck is one thing but looking for tomes in all the wrong places is something else altogether.

The north section. Murky vaults doesn't exist in ios so it's all sewers for us. Try hawkhursts, lizards or zombies if you can

That clear distinction is exactly what I needed to hear. Not just that its in the north but that there is a difference between ios and android in this. I REALLY wish there was an official docs site that noted this and gave us clear information.

Anyone have both an iphone and android and wants to do this?

The new engine that will be released soon on iOS will mirror Android's, so there will not be any differences once the process is complete.
