Ok so currently im a lvl 94 mage

Equipment

50 dmg heat helm
Greater es brestplate
Greater es greaves
Heroic gloves
Heroic boots
Heroic ammy rejuv
+10 mana regen bracelet
4 charstone rings 27s
Dimaond cane
Golden blade of fire

Skills

Fire attunemnt 25/25
Fire bolt 25/25
Fire storm 25/25
Lure of fire 23/25

I auto around 200-250 at mobs close to my lvl


Should I switch to a foc build and use grim as offhand and the 50 foc helm or should i stick to my build that in running atm

the gear u have doesnt suit a wand, it suits bare hand along with dmg offhand, for fastest and most likely higher melee, wands are crap for melee (except dl wand)
yes i suggest stick with normal caster build, but h2h build is also pretty cool, if tbh i think its fun, love to have fast melee with decent damage mostly as a mage while having very high skills dmg, but the caster is easier to use at some point (most main gear is caster's as well, so at some point u will need extremely strong gear such as rad earthstone and any other dmg gear which is expensive to be better than caster with full dl)

i believe its 1500, the only faster wep is cruel knife which has 1483 with dmg of 7 pierce but uses daggers ability so it wont be useful
