HI! Im a little confused about what to do with the gold I'm earning in battles. It looks like the only way to buy things is with platinum, which you have to purchase. Is there anything I can actually do with my gold stash?

gold is mostly good for buying things from vendors (the characters with gold coins above their heads) and when trading with other people. the items you can buy with gold are quite good and important, so don't waste it

Like Magic said, there are plenty of vendors to buy items from, but if you plan on buying any luxury Items I wouldn't ever pay shop price. It's usually fairly easy to find a seller for Castle and OW Lux.

Gold is used to purchase weapons, armor, and jewelry from the shops throughout the areas. Platinum is used to buy things Elixirs (consumables that boost various attributes like XP recieved or Attack Speed for 15 minutes), Idols (when you die, you can use one to revive on the spot), Restoration Potions (instantly give you 1,000 hp/mp) and other cool things. You do not actually need to buy plat for quite a while, so for now just worry about leveling up, getting gold, and making friends Feel free to mail me or whisper me if you ever need help!

Failing to provide the whole of information is ignorant at best, negligent at worst. Pat that back though, you're almost there. Finding the questions to ask are far more difficult than receiving the answers. But you already know this don't you.
