Just to reprove my point. Here is the video and visually look and notice that there is a swing on the weapon you cast qs and you see the dmg for qs however no dmg for the auto now please pig quit arguing with me and go argue with otm.

I am not gonna waste my time watching this video because your next auto melee hit will flash 2 numbers almost simultaneously to accommodate for the uninterrupted auto sequence. This is old news now lol.

Fact: an 80 dmg ring WILL NEVER hit 80 extra dmg on any mob unless said mob has one helluva awesome lure on it from a mage.... And even then will not add a total of 80 extra actual damage to your melee- this has been proven over and over again. I dont know exact percentages but if you use Midnight Cloak skill from Halloween ammy you will notice that the damage (at least for me) has never exceeded 125 to any mob targeting me- that's exactly half of stated damage. (Skill says 250 magic damage and have yet to see do over 125). And we all know mobs resist ice and fire more than magic.
Fact: quickstrike now does not interrupt an auto melee sequence. Shadowstrike is one of the top skills of any class. I dont care what dmg ring you put on; my qs and ss will do more dmg in a minute of constant casting than any elemental ring you put on any haste. 80 elemental damage to my sneaky? Maybe an extra 40 dmg if your lucky- thx but my sneaky can hit well over 3.3k.... I dont pay attention to a 40 difference lol

Heresay: i will do the numbers another day but i am sure a royal shadowstrike ring will add enough dmg to more than cover an elemental ring, even on heroic haste for a minute of auto vs. a minute of continual shadow casting.

Venus- you don't understand this still please read again.

Pig- I proved you wrong and you still argue.. Why? I even gave you a video why do you continue this? I have nothing to prove outside otm lied to you.
You really just told me that I don't understand. Listen here buddy what you're saying is a damage ring is adding 40 or whatever x damage that it says it adds. You're absolutely 100% wrong, you just lost all credibility and I didn't bother to read the rest of your posts. My damage is 1666 right now, am I hitting that every hit? No, if I put on my imperial firefang ring and bump my damage to 1711 will I hit that every time? No, you are the one who doesn't understand my friend.

Here's a simple test for you that I've been doing for the past year, me and a good friend of mine have used skill rings where near every other rogue used damage rings and they never got the kills while we were there even if we helped on adds and they didn't. Is there enough fact for you? You're a better rogue if you use skill rings over damage rings, accept it and move on.

Wow, it's all I can say. You must of missed everything. And shall I repeat a 50 dmg ring will outdps a +5 skill ring. That is my point of this. Clearly no one can read this.

And seriously dude 80 dmg is 80 dmg. Your seriously arguing about doing half your listed dmg? No news flash. But it's simple the reason I say 80. If your not taking account for the reduction on everything then you don't need to. Meaning +5 on a skill is generally around 500 dmg on the skill stat page. Obviously it won't be 500 realistically but since I'm using listed dmg it's ok. I've already proven the math you can argue what you want but you like everyone else has given no facts other than "bs my dmg is the best."

Look at the video, it's not there. Why would I lie?

Well sadly your build must be different try again.

I just explained to the other person. If you take full listed dmg its fine. Adding your 40 dmg ring yes it will go up 40 listed dmg, adding a qs +5 ring your skill listed dmg will go 500 higher. Realistic dmg numbers on mobs? No, you'd get like 1/2 that but that's a completely seperate thing I'm not going into.. But if I'm using full numbers for dmg why can't I with skill dmg? That's right I can because there's no variables. But just for what you like I'll take half to account for reductions. Half of 122 is 66 and half of 45 is 23. Better? 66 or 23 which do you prefer? Numbers don't lie, deal with it.

Auto attacks miss way more frequently than skills do, you didn't prove any math by leaving that out. You're favouring your argument by leaving out a crucial piece.
