Re: Should medical marijauna be made legal?
#11No one ever needed a liver transplant from smoking greens, unlike alcohol. And there is plenty of research providing evidence that cigarette smoke is far more damaging. Just go search some studies on it in a medical library. Hopefully big tobacco and the government doesn't depreciate mj products like that of tobacco. I can just see it now...smoking pesticides and other crud that we wouldn't otherwise have been exposed to so the gov't can make a profit off of huge cash crops. Who knows what the shady government will do to line their wallets. Its known that high-fructose corn syrup put in things like soda and a variety of food products derived from corn as a cheap substitute for real sugarcane leads to obesity and diabetes but its put in there anyway. Point being is don't think anything governments do anything simply for the greater good...its all about business and profit. Just look at the pharma industry. Its amazing how many prescription drugs are lacking long term studies but are pushed onto the public anyway because its all about profit. Anyway...carry on.
