pvp does not matter*, especially if you killed a guy that was just on his leveling build trying to do his arena quest
LEVELING matters

Mylittle.. Not everyone wants to tank.. And being a tank isn't always fun or good for lvling or good for anything. I like the build but obviously the poster doesn't, as I believe he/she said tht he/she wasn't resetting stats.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions!

I guess I was trying to go with a DPS style build. You think I'll be good with more str and less vit? What if I just keep adding str for a bit and not adding vit for a while?

As I mentioned in my OP, I'm not a plat buyer, and I doubt I will be in the near future. All of the plat I have spent came from downloading and playing a bunch of really terrible games via nativex. Since plat is not an option for me, the whole resetting stats/skills thing will have to wait until I can earn the gold ingame.

I do fully intend to get the Heroic Ammy in time, the golden was just the one I could afford with what I made selling plat items. I have to say though, My energy never runs low right now, And I only sometimes have to use bandage for my hp.

I'm almost to my Ancient Scale Legs. You say there is a questline that gets me a nice upgrade, and I should wait until that after having complete Ancient Scale? Ok, Ill keep my eyes open.

I'm working to get the keys for OW now, I'm not quite there yet but soon I think. I'll make a point of checking the lux vendor when I get there for a good offhand.

Rupture is definately on the list right after my legs. I'll look into double attack after that. Then Heroic ammy i think, followed by rings.

I don't care about PvP, never have. I have heard that tank build is better for leveling after like 100-150, is that true?

i have a mix of tank and dps gear
dps skills
and tank stats

i found that in the higher levels strength doesnt impact your damage noticeably so i just dropped it completely and did full vit
with full vit i rarely have to stop for regen or use pots like other classes, so i guess it makes up for lack of higher dps
i can just keep hitting away at the mobs and killing
