play Dark Souls! hardest game i have ever played to date!

there's no real storyline here, it's all about the 'Here and Now'

it's a game where, Real strategy and tactics come into play.
it's a game where, Spamming attacks won't do you good.
it's a game where, every swing of your weapon gives you joy.
it's a game where, if you let your guard down or you underestimate enemies, you WILL die!
it's a game where, Death is a certainty, no matter how hard you try to stay alive.
it's a game where, when you see a Mini-Boss, you wuss out!
it's a game where, Killing a boss is so rewarding, it equals the same feeling when you finish Skyrim, and thats a BOSS!


buy it, play it, test yourself, die & die alot, you will mature as an RPG player.

Hey krogg I didn't know that you were from aus, I am too. I think I heard dark souls mentioned on that gaming show "Good Game" but I'm not sure. I don't know if you watch that show, but it's worth checking out, it's on the abc but I'm not sure what day or time as I tend to just download the podcasts from the iTunes store. It looks like a hard game, I'm not sure if I will try it though O_o

it IS a VERY hard game, the Tutorial in the game is short and sweet, you're pretty much thrown in shark infested water lol

it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but right from the start it is the most challenging gameplay ever.

i've just started NG+ and man, the enemies Riposte as well, so you have to time your swings right...

The game is only easy if you have died sooo many times you know exactly how the AI is going to react rolling around every corner. It's the only game, where even if yer good at yer class and have established a rapport with successful tactics, you still round unknown corners paranoid and borderline scared out of yer mind on how the game is gonna wreck you **THIS TIME**. After you've died 400 times, sure you technically "beat" the discovery out of the game's tricks, but if you don't die like a lemming and really fight hard to stay alive amidst everything you don't know lurking...it's tough.

I certainly think there is a learning curve and after playing for a bit and correctly learning how to add stats, you get better faster. But even then, to coin this game "easy" is just a bold-faced lie. It's a seat of yer pants adventure, especially if yer playing online and have people constantly messing with you. Going to the dark side to PWN noobs, has to be the funniest part of the game to me. And yeah I have been roflstomped by some pretty evil peeps, but I love it. And it's really funny.
