If your a ranger and your not using bolas, your not playing your character correctly. Bolas, root, and freeze are probably the most useful skills use at dl bosses. Exspecially when no tank or not enough druids are available. Also when solo leveling bolas is a must. Rangers have light armor and unless u waste a lot point in vitality, rangers die fairly quick even with full dl. I suggest you add skills to bolas for just above level mob u gonna level on. Also at bosses if on ranger is maxed bolas say at 40/40, and others not at 40 most likely all not at 40's bolases will miss. Set your clan to all have same bolas skill points, it'll help in long run

I totally agree with what you are saying, but I don't boss much although I do occasionally do a few. I find that without bolas I finish my mobs while lixing faster, leaving more time for more experience. I am planning to bring back bolas when I get dl.

In the content of bossing, assuming that you have warrior tanks all the time, bolas can be useful. On some occasions if theres no warrior tank and 1-2 druids you might be able to get away with doing that, I know I have done it but Ive always relied on other to cast bolas while I provide ( ) the target for the boss to be focused on. I prefer myself to just tank it as its more dps if im not moving all over the place and as long as I have 1-2 good druids I am perfectly okay on most bosses around or below my level (below by 10-20 lvls is preferred...).

And for a ranger to solo dl bosses u have to have bolas. Also if u trying to level on bosses 10-12 levels lower than u, then your wasting your elixer already, so leveling on bosses 10 levels higher and bolasing is much better.
