Why warrior and rogue wear spear and boom...They still have dmg skills.

Because they are close ranged. And all weapons they have are close ranged...

I can't out dps rogues but why should I be able to ?
I can't out dps fire Mage on ice dragons but why should I be able to?
Warriors can't out dps me on anything but why should they be able to?
Druids are odd, I'm not sure if they out dps me or not, doubt it on most mobs.
I guess the question is if ranger and war have the exact same gear, who will get kill? I think ranger but idk for sure.

I don't think it matters much other than the fun of it, who is awarded the kill is always fun even if target lock takes most of the fun out of it.

Rangers are quite useful, I am damn happy my main is ranger.

What I would like to see is a bigger and better variety of mobs, mobs that might have a weakness to any class skills.
Or
Ranger and rogue should not share pierce as the damage type, give rangers a new type call it "ranged" and have it be deadly to all flying mobs and be equal to pierce on the rest of the existing mobs.

I am a ranger, and will never be any other class because a ranger with a knuckleblade is as deadly as a baboon with a grenade.

What are your auto hits and highest skill hit?

I average 700 auto on mobs my level with 1792 wep speed. The only dmg skill I use is double attack, but I really only use it on low level mobs because the time it takes to cast double attack is more than the time it takes to land 2 auto hits.

My stats are strength: 5 (260 with gear) dex: 545 (575 with gear) focus: 10 vit: 320
Health: 4000
Energy: 1446
Attack: 4032
Defence: 1218
Damage: 1453
Armour: 516
WEAPON SPEED: 1792

You should always be using double shot. Yes the animation is long, but you don't miss an auto by using it. If you look after the animation is done you will see two autos pop up on each other. This means that the move works as intended, but ranger animations are horribly delayed.

Of the top 10 rangers in Rhia (lowest 187, and the only one not in the 190s), only 2 or 3 are relatively inactive. All of the top clans are low on rangers.
Solo levelling a ranger is easy.
I have never been Strength-build - the "you have to be Str build to succeed as a ranger" is an urban myth. That said, yes our general dps sucks compared to other classes. But we can do a ton of other things those classes cannot. If our dps was upped, we'd be way OP.
If you want to play one class like another class, comparisons become invalid. "It's not fair, my ranger can't tank like warrior"; "it's not fair, I can't dps like a rogue". And then we get the rogue "it's not fair, I can't range/heal/bolas/entangle like a ranger".
If you play a class, play to its strengths; don't decry its weaknesses in areas that "belong" to other classes.

Im curious, do you have full dl on your ranger?

Issue is at high lvls most abandon their designed to be hybrid build. This creates a simple auto build with just 1 1/2 skills. Everything is dex moded and imo creates a boring class. Plat has also made leveling a rogue much more a breeze. Especially with reflex and a combo i never get touched. Rogues u can go str or dex or hybrid and have a very valuable build and strengths in each area.

Besides my favorite class mage I found rangers the easiest class for me to level. Just one problem I don't know enough about em lol. Point me where u need them and teach me o mighty ones (bows)
