It is totally idiot, when a ranger has DL,
She should keep her dexterity, because as she will have lots of heat damage, the most important will be her accuracy!

You're better off using a hrung bracelet for atk or steady aim. It's already been proven that they are better that dumping stat points into dex.

Im curious, do you have full dl on your ranger?

Not yet. Small clan, slow going. I'm 4 drops from full though.

Rangers just need their skills fixed. I dropped my ranger as well.

Problems skills have.

1. Sharp Shot does less than a ranger's auto.

2. Longshot pins targets to the ground and does heavy damage, but has to be shot from far away. Not many rangers use bolas for leveling, an from the fact that mobs move at you with 80% speed, its a little hard to pull back and recast longshot with a relatively fast cooldown it has. Longshot is also not instacast.

3. The skills that buff rangers don't help too much, but are used because there is nothing else to put the skill points into.

4. There is a pause after every skill is cast. The time in which a pause could be replaced with an auto is life saving and adds dps like crazy in the long run.

PLEASE Make individual armor stat types for each class. Ranger and Rogue armor is the same as itself until dl. The hp and energy is switched in each quest armor, i.e warden, and the different skill adds and buffs.

Rangers, Rogues, Druids and Mages are their own classes. Warriors are the only class that gets the most out of their armor since they are tanks and are looked at as individuals.

Lol, if a mage becomes dps, they can get the kill on any 6* boss over a rogue. Fire mages were nerfed, but Ice mages were made a bit better. I've seen ice mages get kills over geared rogues, and over fire mages. Mages are OP dps compared to other classes once they get end game.

Well you see a lot more rogues, and then second you see more warriors than ever. Almost everyone has a warrior or rogue. You know why?


People value dps a lot. If any class goes strength build it will out dps a ranger. This is why I am a rogue.

The skills that let us solo are broken when it comes down to it. Mobs hit too hard, too much hp. Light heal is a waste of casting time and too many adds will join if you distance bolas.

Rogues and warriors like to solo train or with their same classes and not a weaker class. Obviously. So rangers give up, throw their bow down, and either pick up a spear, or make a rogue or warrior.

Too much hp because then rogues and warriors who out dps us would have a ball. They need to make it difficult for them.

Only plus is that I like telling the girl rangers with full DL to show me their gear.

Noooo when i was lvling my rogue my best lvling partners were rangers and mages, never lvled with a warrior until 180 once and then again at like 187 otherwise mostly with rangers. <3 rangers

All mages were nerfed. We also evade so much now that it's hardly tolerable.

As for who gets the kill - it depends on the boss and what its vulnerabilities are.

This sharp/auto thing - I don't get it.
My sharp hits 2k, my auto 600-900.
Regular hits (actual damage, not listed damage) - long 2-3k, sharp 1-2k, double 1-2k, auto average a round the 700/800 mark.
I'm guessing your sharp is < auto because you're Str?

Because as others said, the dragonlord just makes it the better option to go str build.

And as others have also said, the bonuses from DL boost auto making going Dex based a good option.
To each their own. I tried Str build briefly as an experiment, and hated every second. Found it very limiting. But whatever build works for you, works for you.

DragonLord gives you heat damage. It helps a lot with your auto damage and if you haven't noticed, stre build is all about how strong your autos are. doubleshot/rapid.


Heat damage does not help a dex ranger at all so you are basically wasting those value buffs to your armor. Now, you may auto between skills but for the full potential the armor has given you, you should go strength build.


Jack-of-all-trades use to be cool back then but due to everything getting harder, it is better to be the best at one thing than a little of everything. It just will not work.
