We posted several complains about this already, and still hoping they will review the loot table.
But i guess this is otm way to keep ppl from.killing necro and mordris until next update.

After more kills you will be happy that you get a dark weapon, why, because 40% of the kills gives 1 brace an 2 rings. And if a weapon dropped, 90% chance its a dark.

I think we need to adopt to how otm designed the boss and the drops, get more people to kill and give those lvl 180+ the dark weapons instead of banking them. Dark Weapons are still upgrade to those non dragonlord mainhand.

What non dragonlord mainhands are you talking about? Clans who can kill Necro usually have mordy grims, mordy spears or hrungnir skulls. You arent talking about frozen or ancient beastbone are you?

The weapon drops of all 3 endgame bosses hrungnir mordris and necro is of the same level, it varies only on stats, but is not like necro drops is higher than hrungnir. So it only depends on each play style.

To analyze per class

Mage - got hrung skulls, mordris grim, and necro wand
Druids - hrung skulls, mordris grim, necro totem
Warriors - mordris halberg, necro sword
Rogues - got necro dagger only
Rangers - got necro bow only.

So if you are a rogue or a ranger without dl weapon, the only chance you get weapon upgrade is thru necro drops.

Im just talking about lvl 180 dark weapons, which got the highest drop rate.

So just because rogues and rangers get an upgrade from ancient beastbone bow/dagger that means the necro drops are good enough and we should just settle for what OTMs vision might be? There is an obvious problem with OTMs lack of knowledge with raid loot appropriate for the level and encounter difficulty.

Its like saying you only need to kill Snorri 80 times to get a all crowns needed to equip a 30-member clan with Dl weapons and offhands.

Ill just chalk it up to another uninformed and inexperienced opinion from a CH player.

I think getting DL wep from snorri is a lot easier than a wep from necro. Nonetheless, even the dark bow and dagger are upgrades over dl, i think casters have enough options from mordris and hrungnir even though the skulls are best.

In my opinion this kills the drive to kill this boss. Therefore, clans with needed players that know they wont get something will more than likely sit back rather than prepare for the kill. This causes frustration within a clan.

The only reason we bother with these end-game bosses are because of the raid loot. It takes how many players who spend how much plat to take down this boss? And for what; 3 drops that arn't even worth the effort? OTM, if you're reading this, I wouldn't just ignore the subject.

We aren't asking Necro to drop 20 items per kill.

Because it was supposedly be easier than Mordris and slightly harder than Hrungnir which also has 3 drops.
When the Necro nerf patch was put in, the encounter was recategorized as harder than Mordris but the loot was never adjusted to reflect that. They may have boosted it by 20% on some items which is still not enough considering lux items are still superior to some of them.

Not enough imo, and since otm doesnt change existing items, its another failure and missed opportunity to make things better.
