If the criterion for a decision is a 2/3 majority, then the vote was inconclusive. I interpret this to mean there wasn’t sufficient support for a particular option offered.
If this is correct, the dicing system shouldn’t be changed.

Heya,

I find this unfair.

"Idk we can go w it if you guys want, but it doesn't seem like a decision like this should be decided by fiona and zombie voting c at the end."

I just saw the post and you take it againts me for voting at that time. I just had 1 vote which incidentally met the deadline.

It wasn't my intent to tip to anyone's favor rather I went with a decision that I think is best for me at that time. Just like the post of Venus, I did review it just now and it did seem like option C was leading even before my vote and Zombie's......

Maybe in the future, you might want to include the people you want to vote and the people you would like to be excluded. Or maybe state that votes at the end doesn't count even if they meet the deadline....or something like that. At least proper expectations were set.....and I would be OK with your comment. (SARCASM here)

As of the moment, I am stil not eligible for Snorri fights due to level restrictions. This is a poll in which you ask for the decision of the majority. In this case, Majority decided for option C, there is still time however to create the dummy accounts mentioned.....LOL

I am all for "WHAT IS BEST FOR LUGH" but let us keep one thing straight, if you ask someone for their opinion, don't expect it to be the same as yours.

PEACE.....maybe said out of frustration.....but all is forgiven.

Ciao and Happy Gaming to all......

Fiona sorry if it seems like I singled you out. I was only using you as an example that maybe our decisions shouldn't be based off 2 ppl breaking the tie at the end.

Vult ofc nobody is going to vote B after A and C get a dozen votes each but if we are trying to compromise, it seems like this would be the best solution.

The United States uses 2/3 majority to change a law because we consider it more democratic than a simple majority. Same should go for lugh.

And some of these people voting aren't even eligible to dice for crowns yet so idk if we should be using their votes. We don't really have a set definition of what a majority should be. What do we do about people owing? I could go on.

I voted 185 and I'll be just as happy if that wins but I regret starting this vote without getting a voting system more set first. So sorry to all that feel like this could've been handled better.

Option C was leading before they voted.

We've finished with 12A and 17C.
Vult ofc nobody is going to vote B after A and C get a dozen votes each but if we are trying to compromise, it seems like this would be the best solution.
If you believe X option is best for Lugh then you vote for X option. It's YOUR OWN OPINION! Not mine, and not anybody else's.

This isn't the United States. We have many different people with many different nationalities. Hardly fair to base our world off the United States.
How about we use voices of people around the world?

"Majority rule is often listed as a characteristic of democracy."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy

"Democracy is based on majority decision. It is the most important instrument for finding peaceful solutions to conflicts."
http://www.dadalos.org/int/Demokratie/d ... rinzip.htm

"The only reason majority rule and democracy became associated is that it's the most obvious way to make organized voting airtight while still keeping it convenient."
http://www.mega.nu/ampp/kaz/democracy.html

"In practice, democracy is governed by its most popularly understood principle: majority rule. Namely, the side with the most votes wins"
http://www.democracyweb.org/majority/principles.php

"The principle of a democracy rest on majority rule"
http://www.ask.com/question/characteris ... -democracy

Majority Rule definition:
"Majority rule is a decision rule that selects alternatives which have a majority, that is, more than half the votes."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majority_rule

Everyone knows democracy isn't the best way to run things, and neither is "majority rules" although I'm sure many people will agree that is the best and only way for our world, the world with many different viewpoints and opinions to work. With that being said it's only logical we use the option that received the highest number of votes in our democratic system, option C.
And some of these people voting aren't even eligible to dice for crowns yet so idk if we should be using their votes. We don't really have a set definition of what a majority should be. What do we do about people owing? I could go on.
I don't think you need to be a certain level to see a problem and use your thinking power to determine which solution you think is best.

For example: Do you need to be a horticulturist(professional/high level) to see your plants are dying(the problem) and to know they need water(the solution)? I don't think so.
I voted 185 and I'll be just as happy if that wins but I regret starting this vote without getting a voting system more set first. So sorry to all that feel like this could've been handled better.
Sorry but if you were truly happy with the vote you wouldn't have questioned the results to try and skew them in another direction.

Vult, basically every democratic area in the world uses a 2/3 majority to change a rule. Because it makes a lot of sense to do it.

Australia, India, European Union, United States, and even those Canucks. Many more smaller countries, as well.

Lets just do a vote to decide which majority system to use. We'll either accept this vote if it meets the requirement or deny it.

Fair?

And I voted C, but I don't really care either way. I just want to make sure we are doing things in the best way possible. I counted a 12-16 vote. I thought it was a little closer but its still pretty even.
