I would have to say vit and dex rogue and mage because mages these days have most dps and rogue able to tank as well as do a lot of damage have most impact in leveling.

Rogue and Ranger are the best duo!

Ranger heals rogue while Rogue lops off health from the mob. Ranger also has buffs which can boost the dmg of both users.

If your very skilled druid and mage. Hard as hell but well worth it imo.

I thought as a duo account player, it would be smarter to keep the accounts at similar levels, if druid is lower level to rogue, as long as rogue isnt 181+, you can power level druid in your rogues leveling area, which provides better xp.

And if druid is higher you have no problem just make rogue kill with druid healing.

Never said it was hard, i was merely stating what would happen if someone thought that leveling their new druid with a 180 rogue would be the greatest idea ever.

As a rogue, the most success I've had pairing with someone is with a mage. I'd pull and roughly halve mob's life and then mage would burn to the ground. Our kills were so fast it was silly. Watching for adds/repops is important though because of a lack of crowd control (root, snare). I don't duo myself but that's pretty much the same thing.

Level 80 lel, anyone can two shot a mob at that level with half decent gear.

i think the question has a broad stroke, because what's the goal?

quickest kills on mobs? quickest kills on bosses?
least amount of pots/idols used?
some other measure?

i found the easiest way to level. i.e. fewest pots, relatively fast with minimal effort and deaths, is a rogue/druid combo.

my rogue is a dex based rogue with maxed fast reflexes and lifesteal. druid would have max dps skills but also maxed natures touch.

As a hybrid druid, they can add some damage especially on 4star mobs, while providing heals. the rogue essentially guarantees all locks and kills (mages are nice, but rarely outdps while leveling in my opinion.. takes a longer battle).

Both toons need abundant sigils to eliminate needs for pots.

In this setup, you can kill quickly, never die, never pot. The rogue setup also works well solo. May not be as fast as a pure DPS rogue, but the pot usage is significantly lower. Even at 185-190 i used 1-3 pots per rainbow. sigils/lifesteal/avoid.
