Pretty funny plus when you consider electric cars are carbon neutral (assuming the electricity is gotten from a renewable source like wind, solar ect.
It is an outright farce that the electricity comes from carbon neutral sources. In the USA it's 70-80% from fossil fuel like coal power. In Europe Its 60-70%. Electric cars pollute even more than an economy gas car because they are 1.5-2x the mass due to the huge batteries.

Whoever thinks a 418horsepower (310kw) 4600lb (2100kg) electric car is efficient dosent have a high school understanding of physics.

It will be decades before these sources change - longer than the lifespan of the vehicle.

Also manufacturers hide the fact you need a new 20 thousand dollar battery in 7-10 years after purchase.
Us Brits dont like to keep our cars more than 5 years before an upgrade, and I was referring to a "perfect" society in an economical stand point, just because it is not efficient there is an unlimited supply of sunlight

Someone has to foot the bill for those batteries unless you mean you are just throwing away the cars.

Also there isn't an unlimited amount of sunlight. Sunlight is very weak. Solar cells under perfect conditions get about 150 watts per square meter (or square yard if you like). They work for 8-15 hours a day only. Dust, clouds, snow, fog, leaves, shade, all make them work poorly to not at all. Even in prime areas they are extremely expensive per kilowatt hour although in Europe electricity is so expensive it's not as bad as the USA. In short solar power from photovoltaic technology sucks and is way overpriced today. Even in the long run it isn't a good source as the above problems will never go away.

Wind has many problems including killing birds and reducing property values with a not in my backyard mentality similar to nuclear fission plants. Hydro can only be installed in limited places and does have severe environmental impacts.

If you want my idea as to what is the ideal environmentally sound source it would be nuclear fusion plants. There is basically an unlimited amout of deturium and tritium in seawater and outside of waste heat there would be almost no harmful byproducts. We are almost there already.

Imo all this will be pointless in 200 years when we have discovered a more efficient machine than the particle accelerator, we will be able to produce anti matter and energy via anti-matter matter annihilation, but we are getting off topic

Oh i know the difference. For instance: you believe hat evolution is true while the evidence says it is not.
What evidence? All the evidence says its true, maybe if you google searched the stuff or actually READ *gasp* the facts in the posts made you would be better informed, you are like the occultists who say "if god isnt real why does the sun come up?" I mean come on!
No no NO magixal. He said hat evolution. Everyone thinks that the fine high fashion hats are far superior to the straw and animal hide contraptions used by our ancestors but truth is they knew how to make a damn fine hat. Hats have only changed within the limits set forth by our forehatbearers. Not evolved at all.
Lol plus3 you actually made me smile with that post. I meant "that". As for you magixal, I have done research. I am not a half year old. I like to flatter myself and think im a little more intelligent than that. This debate has really come far down from what it was in the original topic. I find it amazing how much we have posted on this subject. Well, not really. Its an interesting subject this one is. Its hard for me to keep up lol. By the time im ready to post a replie the whole thing has moved on. I am kind of looking into those trees plus3. Also im never sure when it is appropriate to use the Bible to argue. This is why i like one on one debates. But hey. It is what it is.

Just so you know it takes more energy to produce antimatter then you get back no matter how advanced your tech. If you could mine antimatter (there are some natural sources of this far far away from our solar system) that would be one thing but producing it is subject to conservation of energy.

In the foreseeable future fusion is the superior energy producing technology with minimal impact to the enviornment. Afterall that's where sunlight, hydro, wind, and most renewable energy comes from anyhow.

Wow...Just wow.
You say an unlimited supply ?! Look at the North pole, Northern Canada, and Alska... There is sunlight every day for A HALF a year, and the other half is pure night time....Think about the poor North pole peeplz

I find it funny that you disregard a book with actual historical accounts (that are true) but claim Wikipedia, that can be edited by anyone, is entirely true.
