Re: How does a world deal with low class behavior?

#51
We are having an issue on our world where rival clans after losing lock on a boss they go out of their way to make it more difficult to finish the boss. None of their shenanigans have worked but it has cost us a few idols.

They pull adds into the fight.
They cast spell on members
They stand in the boss so targeting is more difficult.
They try and pull boss out of area to force a reset.
Etc....

I tried to post it in the CH world forum and it was removed. :|
I did not call out any person but I did reference the leadership of a particular clan.
But I also posted a video link without making any reference, just using it as an example.

I have refused to join our FFA groupie discussion group because I feel strongly that words do hurt. And I do not want to support that environment.

I guess my question is, where do we work out our world issues?
Is it not allowed on CH forum?

Is posting an actual in-game video event not allowed?
Does that make this game offensive?

Or are tactics like this encouraged?
Where is the proper place to discuss issues like this?
Do unto others what you would want them to do to you; IE; give them a chance on the boss instead of jumping in and claiming lock for yourself.
A Mage is like a Lamborghini, You don't get one as your first car or daily driver and there are cheaper cars that go faster and are more comfortable anyway.

I didn't want to bring this up because they can't defend themselves, but at the last Hrungnir it was your player that came in on a fire broom, grabbed the aggro, and dragged it to reset. This certain player happens to be over level 200 too.

You don't have to believe me, and I know that he'll deny it like he did when we were at hrung. But we have a pic showing him do it.
You are twisting the truth...

First off, let me point out this was your 2nd attempt on the boss, and we were there well in time to take it. IMO its rather absurd that you'd bring this up when we gave 2 free tries before us taking. But, putting that aside... Your groups had lost control of the boss (IE, hrung was running around killing everyone as they idolled), and he was sitting on the spawn point watching. I guess you could say he 'technically' reset it, because he was the last person it touched, but the boss was already lost.
Enjoy the little things in life...
One day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.

Did he reset it? Or did you wipe because you had no druids and no organisation? If anything, he helped hold aggro off of you for a moment or 2.

Members of the alliance were also having a go at one of their ex-rangers for not keeping Hrungnir Bolas'd    .

I didn't twist the truth, and you let us attempt it 2 times? You guys didn't even know it was up until we were almost done, you guys let us try another time and I won't deny that.

We didn't wipe but we would've later on probably, he flew in on his broom, grabbed aggro, and pulled it until it reset.

It might not have been on purpose but it was done and him sitting there denying it instead of apologizing is bs.

Sorry for posting after thread kinda died too, I don't check forums very often.
