Don't want to sound cheesy, simply want to thank all the many great guys and gals on Morrigan for giving me a lot of support regarding one particular and very big problem, (and one a lot of us have had to put up with for far too long). While that 'problem' has currently been removed from Morrigan, the atmosphere is far more back to what it should be, a game. That said, I am not a completely stupid old fool and am very aware the 'problem' might return again (a bit like when you whack a wasp but it refuses to die!). Actually it is a bit like those horror films, where the rabid, stinking beast just can't be killed off.
I was a kid when the film 'Jaws' came out (I had in fact already read the book). I found it utterly terrifying; a gigantic white shark that just couldn't be killed. For anyone who hasn't seen it, at the end, with the boat sinking, the skipper ends up sliding down into the shark's gaping mouth, while the hero (Chief Brodie) is left clinging to a mast, the water beginning to engulf him. He manages to get the shark to swallow a large gas cylinder and as the Great White closes in on him, (by now the mast is almost horizontal and at water level), Brodie fires straight at the shark, manages to hit the gas cylinder and thus blows the shark to smithereens. That was hugely satisfying to my young eyes. History is of course strewn with tales of Knights slaying dragons and Jaws was simply a modern interpretation on that age old story. Perhaps that was the genius of who ever invented this game, as in every player is a version of a knight killing beasts and dragons. Sadly the worst monsters of all on this planet are the human monsters, and while they seem to endlessly slay the innocent, they are in many cases never held to account for their crimes. Anyone ever seen, 'The Killing Fields'?
Apologies for my monologues. Will desist from inflicting any more on this forum. If I do write other posts I will try hard to make them short. All best wishes to all great beasties on game.
PS. After seeing Jaws I began to become very nervous about swimming in the sea and jumping out of my tiny dinghy to dive. The joke was, I lived in Devon and the English Channel is not exactly renowned for containing man eating sharks. But to my child's mind I feared the possibility of one massive, Great White deciding to go on vacation from Florida or Australian waters so as to try some English cuisine for a change. No doubt if sharks could speak, they would say we all taste the same!

#8Sharks as a whole don't like what we taste like. I can totally see fear of water in correlation with JAWS though- certainly scared the crap outta me.
