also, slightly off topic, but my pet peeve about christianity is that Jesus, Mary, etc are nearly always portrayed as white. They were from the middle east... they were not white people and to say so is racist and ignorant

Religous believers are generally more racist and oppressive in comparison to atheists, look at places that are more atheist, look at their crime rates, crime is practically non existent there. And considering Christianity is the biggest world religion they are who I have my biggest beef with for ruining the world. The bible even tries to distill fear in people for the idea of a peaceful world, ergo, Christians like war and violence, despite what their mouths say their book says otherwise.

Amd my pet peeve with the religious knee jerk response to that comment is that people like hitler were atheist and did thier evil deeds in the name of atheism.

Besides hitler being Christian and being backed by the catholic church it is nonsense to say a non-belief is what motivates people to do things. Like hitler did everything in the non belief on Zeus or the non belief in unicorns (don't have any evidence but I'm pretty sure he was not a brony). Leaders like that create an institution of power that suppress facts and the will and voice of the people for thier own greed.

Additionally it is deeply disturbing that some people find having a far more powerful version of the NSA obsessing over every last detail of their life necessary to be moral. As if god let up for a second they would be murdering and raping with no regard for anything. It's actually far more noble to behave even if you won't be punished. It's also offensive to say that before the bible people didn't know what was right or even that the bar for all morality is the bible because of all the horrible things in there like slave beating.

Believe it or not, tht is the pet peeve of many of the Christians at my church - including me. That is the same reason I abandoned my old church. He is described as a man with bronze feet and hair like wool, so I doubt that he was white very much, haha.

Magixal, I'm just wondering - what are the Christian death rates in those particular regions?

Plus3, you offended a lot in that one post. Firstly, sadly there probably would be a lot more Christians sinning if God did not watch over them. You literally just said that Hitler sinned like he did while he knew God was watching over Him.
Man always knew some morality no matter how evil their deeds were. Who says that man knew nothing of morality before the Bible? Ever since Adam and Eve ate of the Tree man knew. Lastly, I explained to you multiple times about the slave parts, but you are free to believe what you want to, of course.

Also, is a scientist still a scientist if He denies all fact and law, but still calls himself one? The same is true for people called themselves Christians.

Your talking about catholics... They are different in many ways, and I already explained them.

They also have the virgin of death in Mexico, but do you think I pray to it?
Incase you dont understand me, the answer is nope.

Your stereotyping again.

So if you can say that about us christians, I can say that all scientists make nuclear weapons to try to rule the world, and they are all pedophiles and does "things" to little puppies. And they are murderous Baby killers, that likes to take a babies life with a vacuum machine .

And my favorite post of the day...

Again, you even backed me up with this one.

Key word: CATHOLICS

Hitler was catholic, not christians( catholics have persecuted real christians... Thats why some, if not most pilgrims that went to the USA were christians, looking for a place where there isnt class, social, and religious oppression... Seems like atheists want religious oppression, since they hate christians so much. Sounds like end times eh?)

And slave beating.... Dont you remember your ancestors ?

European people were the ones who started taking Africans to Europe, and later on to America to make them their slaves.
They also beated them up, treated them like animals, raped them, used them as fighting dogs in cages.

I've seen many atheists that are racists, and inhuman, so dont try to make us like we are the ones who caused this.

Also, Im pretty sure Abraham Lincon was christian, and was AGAINST racism.
