I have some questions for maxical. Keep in mind that I'm not trying to bash you i just want to know how the average atheist would respond.
Do you have Christian friends?
If someone who you know try's to convert you to Christianity how do you respond?
Do you think atheists should try to convert others to atheism? Just wondering :)
It isn't possible to 'convert' someone to athiesm any more that it is possible to 'convert' someone to not stamp collecting. Lmao!!

As soon as religious people stop make pretending myths are real and denying facts and reality I'll stop pointing out thier denial.

And yes if anyone i meet in person is in reality denial i question why.

If you are in the it's ok to make pretend reality how about hollocaust denial? How about if you had a friend that accused Jews of making it all up and it never happened? Would you just sit there and agree to not make waves?
It takes an amount of faith to believe in the lack of god and i have seen atheist tents at several festivals attempting to convince people to be an atheist, and i didnt read the rest of your response because you began to rant

Plus, have you ever tried to be tactful? Like in a sense, polite? It makes you more professional in debates. So if you would RESPECT other peoples' opinions instead laughing them off, maybe we would get somewhere. I used to do this and now I look back and see what a retard it made me look like. Now, to the point.

Common sense always beats assumptions. There were thousands of people that witnessed Jesus perform miracles and live. 500 people observed him rise as he left his tomb. This common sense, (knowing that witnesses pass on information) is a LOT more believable than assuming a belief based on one man's idea that consists if a premise using vague, faint, and almost non-existent evidence. In a sense, evolution is a pseudoscience.

To blue galaxies and light emission: if we can measure the time it takes for a lightwave to red shift into a lower frequency wave, then we can understand anything in the universe that involves light. Now evolutionists and atheists are clapping and giving a standing ovation to this fact. OBJECTION. Unfortunately, we cannot measure the time it takes for a lightwave to red shift. Evolutionists say that the light particles have been traveling for billions of years, from a star that is 200 billion light years away. Please fix the formula for measuring light, just please.

To carbon dating: based on our knowledge of how long it takes for carbon atoms to decay, we can figure out how long an object has been decaying for, right? No. A single object cannot last hundreds of millions of years. Carbon dating is simply inaccurate.

One last topping: the first bible was printed in the 17th century. Yet in genesis, God puts Adam to sleep and takes a rib from him. Yes! Surgery! The first surgery! Of course doctors hadn't 'discovered' the correct treatment for surgery. It was only until later that they found out that ether could knock someone out for them to feel no pain.

That is all for today. I am simply not convinced that evolution is true. HOWEVER, I do believe in the Big Bang. God spoke, and well, bang. :)

Well, the bible never says there was not an explosion when God made the Universe.
But I am sure that it only took 6 days + 1 day to rest to make the earth, like the bible said, Not billions of years.

I do indeed have christian friends, however I don't let belief get in the way of friends or family, if someone tried to convert me I would politely but firmly inform them of my religious orientation, and no atheists shouldnt convert other people to atheists, however, the problem arises when people dont even know their own religion, you could go out and ask someone their impression of god and it would be "all loving all caring etc." but they would omit the parts where god condones rape, where he kills millions, and where god tempts people who know no better

Not sure, but one of the seals breaking I think mentioned the mass killing of Jews until the rapture. The Bible PREDICTED the holocaust!
You have to consider that hitler was a christian, so most likely knew this, so played it his own clever way to instil fear in other world leaders so as to stop action, and it worked because hitler went un opposed for ages.

Im happy at least someone accepts that the Big Bang is what happened, as I have said, if you believe god made the Big Bang happen then fine by you

You are too much. Lol it was awesome to read keep going !

As if reality is opinion based at all it is so laughable!

I will never respect an opinion that is flat out disproven by facts. Never. No one should. If you think calling Jewish people whining liers for making up nonsense about a hollocaust is wrong you can see why. Actions people take when they don't know what is real kill people - even when they try to help. Catholic missionaries killed tens of thousands to perhaps hundreds of thousands in Africa when they preached the evils of condoms during a pretty bad aids epidemic. I can oh assume they didn't mean to mass murder Africans.

As for the rest of your reality denial if it was just one particular aspect of a particular theory that was wrong maybe but you are ignorant, so unbelievably ignorant it is astounding. Can you understand that wavelength alteration is a ********* staple of everyday life? GPS navigation requires its calculations to work but you probably disbelieve in google maps on mobile phones too!! The little blue dot is put there by satan to remind you he's watching!!! Lol!!!

Go ahead and tell the cop his radar speed gun is the work of lying athiest sinners and he's going to hell if he tries to use the reading to convict you! Please do this! Please!!

When you grow up enough to accept facts I can set you straight on carbon dating. This is too fun keep going!!

Well I don't know exactly went on as I wasn't there and don't have any evidence of what went on.

There is nothing to "believe in" with athiesm so I'm not sure how it is possible to "convert" someone.

Converting is the indoctrination of someone so that they believe a whole new pile of supernatural nonsense with no facts to back it up. The funniest part is while thinking thier new found belief is real they won't admit usually the whole other part of thier life was living a lie. As if when they decided to change thier minds the heavens themselves became insubstantial and god himself changed in form untill everything was precisely as they believed. It is unbelievably hubristic and arrogant.

If a god was real and it was the childish kind demanding people worship him and caring about what holes people use for various things it wouldn't matter how vile how evil how disgusting that god was. You would have to get in line worshiping and praising and live in fear that the thought crime of knowing it was wrong would get you tortured forever. There would be no other sects no other religions. Just dear leader in heaven making it perfectly clear who was the boss.

Btw god is also sexist, seems god only likes the white male, just as society did at that time (more proof christianity is a hoax) and yes, it is in the new testament, Timothy 2:12 "I do not permit a women to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet"

Um, were does the Bible discriminate against blacks? Also that verse was referring to the church. God made women as a companion for man. The man was to be the head of the family. As God was the one who created women, it was His responsibility to determine what the purpose of women was.
Psalm 46:10 He says, "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
