Epona ladder!

#1
Same rules apply as to MarcusD's post, thanks! (yes, he has then me permission to do this)

Hello everyone. I am an old player with much Celtic Heroes experience and I have started an open ladder competition/clan! A ladder is when you start the game from scratch and it is protected from outside influences in the game.

How we are going to do it is as follows;

1. We all start a new charecter on world Epona.

2. Join the clan "Ladder"

3. We cannot buy plat or use any plat items like elixers or idols. Also we cannot get gear or gold from friends or our other charecters, what you get must be earned in the ladder.

4. We must make a druid or warrior main in the clan. Other classes can be made but they must be an alt and lower in level than your main. This is to facilitate plat free bossing.

5. We can group, especially but not limited to other players in the ladder.

6. We cannot leave lirs reach. So this allows castle, tavern, crookback, lirs, and catacombs.

7. When 2 players make it to max normal monster level (40) then a countdown timer begins. When the timer is up (probably around a month) then we will open up the next game area, next area to be opened will be Shalemont Ravine. Also when 2 players make it to 40 then recruitment for this ladder season is OVER. So better get in now! Our highest player is roughly lvl 22. If recruiting is closed anyone who wants to join will be put on a waiting list and as soon as the next zone is opened up a new ladder season will start for the people creating new charecters to start at the beginning. This will allow there to always be people to level with and that their doesn't get to be a large level gap between the players.

8. You can buy lux, but it must be with gold you earn in the ladder. You cannot gift yourself gold or items from oter charecters not on the ladder. However you can buy items from them that you could otherwise get yourself. So mounts, agnus McLir armor, lux is all fair game to buy from others or even your other charecters, but if buying from yourself or a friend you must pay fair market value. (no selling yourself lux for 1k! lol).

9. Drops may be collectivized but at this point is at a "reciever's option" standard where the person the drop falls on has the option of what they want to do with it or give it to. Drops must remain in the ladder however unless you were helping another clan and they let you keep it.

In conclusion please join the groupie group "Celtic heroes ladder" for more info or make a character on Mabon and look for a member of the Ladder clan there for more info and an invite. See you on the Ladder and hurry before the time is up!

Who would do this? Like seriously? We have mains for a reason, and that is to, if we make alts, make them powerful, not let them suffer till they get lux... This whole entire idea is soooooooo dumb!!!!

And when u said that we had to have a druid or warrior main, if we wanted a lvl 90 rouge, we would have to lvl a druid or warrior to what, lvl 100? that is sooooo dumb... Like who does that? Yours and this other dudes idea is dumb!!!

Don't know why everyone is so annoyed.

This is just another way to play the game. If you have been playing a long while it might bring back a little of the "first character" excitement.

And the rules are only for the characters that join the ladder of course. You can still log onto your level 190 Rogue if you want. Also if your new character did join the ladder what would be the point of breaking the rules? Honour system obviously.

Not for me but still sounds very interesting.

Pageril...well you get the idea

If two people cheat and use lixes and get two people to level 40 it would ruin the whole program.

I dont understand, why would anyone cheat?

The whole point is you make a new character, then join the Ladder clan, then level with them.

If you are levelling with the Ladder clan it would be noticed if you used a lix. And there is no prize at the end of the process. The only prize is the experience itself.

If you enter a sporting contest to prove you are the best, cheating doesn't show your skill does it?

I am guessing you never heard of trolls before then? Not everything is so vallant as you think it is.
