Dear Lady Keri, I am so glad your French casserole was enjoyable. As you know, mine was prepared amid the filth of the village (chickens clucking and shitting on the mud floor of the lowly bothy I prepared this meal in). Your Ladyship's version, cooked in your exquisite castle kitchen, looked far better. I also notice you chopped and sprinkled a fresh herb on yours. While mine contained organic dried French herbs, the fresh ones, grown in pots here at the back of this bothy sadly all died last summer (I had no desire to use them and so forgot to water them).

Due to my advanced years I am a little confused. Is the topic to be locked due to 'naming and shaming' popcorn? While I did 'name' it I did so to praise it, especially the toffee version (and I LOVE pine nuts so hope you will make some Lady Keri and perhaps allow me to taste some).

I am saddened though madam, that due to my problems with your Ladyships Irish Wolfhound (Roger), that instead of him being removed from the castle, it is I who have been sent back to living in the village. Two of Aileron's clansmen removed me by hand I may add, and in a very rough manner. While I still have my duties and chores to conduct daily within the castle, it does say in my contract that one reason there is virtually no pay, is because I might enjoy the comforts of living accommodation within the castle loft. As that accommodation has now been withdrawn will my salary reflect this?
