By the way, did you know that for the first one thousand five hundred years of CHRISTIANITY god wasn't involved AT ALL in marriages? Christians married in civil unions with no church involvement. Furthermore being married with a religious blessing at a place of worship predates your religion lol. As to your last point I'm guessing its a combination of wanting equal rights and Stockholm syndrome.
I know it was only civil for a few years. My point is that marriage by church started in Christianity, and some gay people want to get married by church too, which doesn't make sense .
By the way, I was kind of joking about homosexuality affecting us, but it is kind of true.

Quick question, why is there a need to pray? If a godly being is all knowing, he/she/it would know what you need and/or what you want. It seems like most religions incorporate an idea of praying that revolves around asking, but you would be actually begging whilst said god ponders, again contradictory to a being that is all knowing.

I do not remember the explanation I was given and as I ponder the idea of praying it seems rather mean to in effect say: I know what you need but I want to hear you beg me for it.
this is My last post...

Because God wants us to have a relationship with him. Prayer is also not just asking, but a conversation(you cant understand if you aren't saved). Imagine if no one talked to you. Life would be pretty boring without communication.

No, a spirit doesn't actually talk to you. Imagine your in a beautiful beach, and you're about to take a swim, but then someone tells you:" Don't you read that sign? if you swim in these waters, you will be eaten by sharks. That sign is there to warn you, not to ruin your fun." Its your choice to swim for a little bit of fun and then have a painful death, or not swim and be able to walk away and live.
God already told us everything we need to know to be saved, and how to please him in the Bible. Its your choice to follow it or not .

Ffs royal when are you going to stop being so close minded and actually look at the evidence?!? Its a book, from 2000 years ago, I could go and worship and prey to the harry potter franchise but I don't because that would be stupid. Same deal goes for the bible. Also may I ask, if your belief encompasses the entirety of the bible, why dont you hate gays and women?

The Atheists on my thread have been grouping Christians together, which is totally wrong. I personally feel The Lord working within me, trying to make me a better person. You can say thats a load of crap, that its delusional and I'm a reality denier, but I still say the Holocaust happened. I say that 'Christians' have done bad things in the past. There are too many people out there that believe thats they can do whatever, like murder someone, then pray and be safe. Then do it again. I don't think that way, and I'm sure there's others that don't too. Although unless you truly try praying to Him, you won't understand. With that thought in mind, I'll stop commenting on the Religous threads. Agree to Disagree, because you won't stop believing in fake evolution and Big Bang theory, and I wont stop following Him. So Goodbye, and I hope that you find god.

Dont speak about the bible before answering my single question few pages ago.

Ive read few posts from ppl here, christians and atheists, so many lies about the bible, so much false info, so many dumb sayings.

What is the most important thing in the bible? Enjoy.

I will change my mind when you present some REAL evidence, instead of expecting people to take the word of a magic man.
