I can't believe that people don't like to use this skill... Its an insta-cast that does over 2,000 damage when maxxed? What is there to not love about this skill? The cool down is longer than double shot but still... It's pretty great and this skill doesn't get the reputation it deserves. At least until OTM reads this and nerfs it to a long range skill only like longshot or something...

Mine does 3600 max damage and that's with 1k dex. Def needs a buff considering I only hit around 1 to 2k on mobs my level, which is an auto or two. Yet I know rogues with 4k+ shadow strike which is insta cast and unresistable...
PS: Sharp shot has a timer in android version, there's your nerf.

With 300+ dex on up sharp shot can be ok. Also though you have a +5 to the skill so yeah its gonna be giving you more dmg. Sharp shot can be wonderful- if you have high dex. otherwise no way.

So it's not insta-cast in android? I figure they'd nerf it... And I agree that it needs a buff rather than more of the ranger nerfing for no apparent reason.

Hey buddy, it isn't the dmg on the skill page that is unleashed onto a mob, it's what is left after all the resists of the mob come into play. Piercing dmg is heavily resisted.

Well I've been hitting pretty great with it... Around 1.5k on mobs my own lvl, but that might be because of the +15 pierce amulet that I wear

Your damage gear does not affect your sharp shot damage whatsoever.
