Well,
I am not sure that is true - in the rpg business, it isnt always best to make "cannon fodder" the way to kill monsters.
With the skills the Necro casts, and the differences within his adds, the more people just hanging around idoling seems to be a bad idea.
There is a large group of highh level players who dont believe in idol-suiciding to kill bosses, and frankly, I am not gonna spend a lot of cash on a boss that I am unlikely to get drops from (looking at odds, esp with a huge amount of players involved).
As far as inf and loth getting along and sharing... That never really happened.... SpellSingers and NewBrits shared bosses. We did not, however share drops. We
The only relationship problems those two clans had, that I know of at the time, came from the inability to determine who "hit first" on the end-game bosses of the time period, before we chose to do a FFA. Then, the kill group got the drops, and the others congratulated them and walked away.
The bad blood came when members of both clans (at different times) decided to have a coup(sp) or mutiny, because they disagreed with the then chieftans, as well as some of their other generals. Working behind peoples' backs brings hard feelings, which turned into this war, or whatever you want to call it.
The current clans (3 separate clans now, each made up of new players and ex- members of both SS and NB) have not attempted to make any boss-sharing treaties, that I have seen or heard of.
I would really love to see that happen, myself, as i dread logging in these days, only to be whisper-yelled-at over rule changes that haven't been publically discussed.
Perhaps politics are the first order of business, if you want to see a server wide boss kill...
