ty to Yaz Spiro for donations and thanks to Tug for understanding what we are trying to do. i was chief of wd for a while and i know how hard it is to supply lower lvls with what they need. it is a great thing you do jos, keep it up.

It's a good idea, but it will only properly work if:

1. The people you give free items to will remain independent and not rely on the clan to spoonfeed them
2. The people you give free items to will not stop playing at a low level, thereby wasting your efforts and resources
3. The users will also be selfless so they will contribute to the 'pool' of items once they become an appropriate level. It must be sustainable.

If you can do these, then kudos to you!

I agree, WD is amazing for low lvl support. I have an alt there and he gets great help and support there, and I can't wait till he can contribute to the clan when he's a high lvl the way Jos does. I'm gonna have him start adding my unneeded drops to the clan to further the effort, because the ideals there will bring other players to that lvl as well, and replenish the dwindling upper-tier clans and keep the game rolling. Ty to WD for all you do, and keep it up!

The way I see it... the plethora of extra discs, rems, tabs, etc that I've accumulated over the last 18 months can sit and rot in my bank, or I can pass them on to someone that needs them. Lord knows I am not going to take the time to try and sell them. Glad to have been able to help Jos. You do good work. The only way this server is NOT going to die, is if we keep people interested as best we can. We've all received hand outs at one point or another, nothing wrong with paying it forward. Yah, some people are going to take it for granted, and become lazy and probably quit... but I'm guessing they were lazy to begin with, and would have quit eventually anyway, so no big loss.

Btw i think its good to help others, i actually feel good when i get rid of my stuff in ch i don't need and will never use or sell because i have too much of it. I have few alts that have items over 300 skills and rings that been like that for months(they make me lag). Maybe they work or not because i don't look at my alt items .. Also i'm probably not good at giving huge amount of low levels items because i get too many requests after i give a few items for free (spiro has skills or alts of mine for free)---then 10 requests or whispers. I really admire what Jos does for the Rosmerta community and you should also. We prob don't want our high lvls and alts just playing the game, the more the merrier. Who knows maybe they'll take a liking in Rosmerta and become plat buyers and the effort was worth it. I'm not a plat buyer but would love competition on plat stuff. I want sks 3k or scs 6k, or even set of sigils 5k . Don't know if its like that now but the point is competition is gooood. If misuse it's their problem. I helped and tried, all i can say, i won't regret my action. All i need is a ty. ---Don't ask for stuff like my lux and say i thought you only need a ty, it's not relevant with the post. Sorry post was too long.
