A lot of people are making posts or statements that don't reflect what they're asking of others.

I'll speak specifically as to ensure I do not make an 'ignorant generalization' as you said Aralus.

There's been a misuse of words, so I'll try to clear up some definitions as well.

As defined by the merriam-webster online dictionary, the definition of generalization, link provided (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/generalization):

: a general statement : a statement about a group of people or things that is based on only a few people or things in that group

Now look at the original post, I'll be sure to quote the whole thing so you don't claim I'm taking your words out of context, I'll highlight the statements of yours I'm critiquing in red, and my response will be the blue font:

Therefore why not be open minded. This game is for entertainment purpose only, I have other things to do, so have not much time usually. What makes the fun distasteful is that its quite concern to shame others if their opinion does not satisfy you. Not to be angered by Someone with different views.

If that means being a 'foreigner' Seen as majority here are American players(some, not all. I have no proof) who take this game seriously, I would rather that than ass lick round people who are non respectful in a clever way, and some of whom are downright cheats.

Your words are your words, there's no denying them. You say a 'majority here are American players', then you say 'some, not all' (you're already contradicting yourself), then you admit you 'have no proof'. Your statement is the very definition of a generalization, merriam webster can probably use your statement as an example of a generalization. On top of that, the fact you make the statement while admitting you have no proof makes it ignorant (lacking knowledge or information). So you made a generalization, and it was ignorant, so you yourself made, an ignorant generalization.

In real world we move on. So rather than always relying on the past, for those who call a certain clan lets scammers in that is a ignorant generalization.
It's the normal way to deal with issues. Move on. That's the dutch way.
You say 'in the real world we move on', Morrigan itself seemed to have moved on as there's been no topics in the past week discussing generalizing people until this thread. If you truly moved on and want others to do the same, then I ask you, why rehash an old topic? As for people making ignorant generalizations, please see above.

He's pointing out the fact you're comparing Americans and foreigners as you've done in your previous posts. How is his statement racist?

I don't think you realize, but you're implying that the Dutch 'a bit more capable of understanding others', you're saying in some sense, perhaps the Dutch are superior to others, that's the definition of racist. It wouldn't surprise me. When someone resorts to such a tactic instead of offering a proper rebuttal it essentially shows they have nothing to back their argument so they turn to the flamewar/name calling to distract people of that fact.
