Maybe a quick fix would be to remove the trade ability below level 10 similar to shout level limitation.

I guess this would limit the issue a bit at least.

This is perfect! It will work great .... Until they reach level 10. I dont think there really is anyway to prevent it.

Pigman said in another tread that one of the OTM staff on forum (forgot who) have said that from now on they will device ban these scammers. That should help some in the long run.

I've added my actions to these accounts in red. Please be aware that players using letters to have the same name because it may have been taken IS NOT against terms of service. It's when they go around pretending to being other players to scam and trick other players that this issue becomes against the terms of service.

Yes they have claimed to be the main characters all that I named.

He actually managed to get about... 2m... or more worth of gear with this one... Actually more like 4-5m

Are those players device banned as was said in another post?

Thank you for taking action... Although its been like 4 months since the scammers were on and several good friends quit because of them...

been a few accounts impersonating horniforu that ive seen. altho i cant recall the name.

sadly the shout level limitation was removed..... And the under lvl 10 limitation to trade is a bad idea imo because then id need to lvl my bank to lvl 10 and do you know how much effort that takes?! I actually have to do something......
