Ive been out of the game for almost a year, and just decided to log in. Uhh... sneaky attack doesnt work, wtf? I am lvl 49 trying to use sneaky on 1 star enemies in the mid 30s. Every time I try to use the attack they detect and target me. I even tried using hide, then using sneak attack but the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong?

I know they nerfed it so much I remember being able to pretty much 1 shot every non in the game with it

Yea, it was definitely overpowered when I first started playing. I figured they would just make it do less damage, but now it does less damage AND is impossible to land a strike. Is it only used when fighting with groups of people so the monster can target someone else?

also, when u have hide on, and u press any other skill than sneaky or put auto, the hide will go away

This is actually due to the interups. Like when you attack a boss and interup it's spell the same thing happens when they attack you. Try to use hide and sneaky from a good amount of distance away. Like nested of standing right under the mob just stand far away and click on sneaky so that your character runs to the mob automatically

My hide is lvl 55, so that wasnt the issue, but you fixed the problem for me. I was hitting sneaky then hitting auto before the hit landed, which removed the hide and made me get targeted.

So for anyone else having problems, dont use auto attack! Cast hide then sneaky.

Yes, when i started my rogue, that always happened to me too, because i was used to pressing auto after skill on my warr!

It wasnt always that way! When the game first came out you could just walk up to an enemy and do a sneaky attack (and usually drop them in one shot!)

well then i'm pretty sure rogues must of have been very overpowering
