If you arrive at fight after pull, how do you know when fight started, and how do you prove that you arrived before 3 minutes had gone? If we use a health bar reference point, then any late arrivals can immediately see if they are too late, and it is possible to take screen shot as evidence.

this sounds like a great compromise, fair and inclusive. i support this.

maybe there should be a designated time keeper too. 3 mins may start at different times for everyone. just a suggestion.

the boss kill earlier was not bad cause it wasnt rushed and because lugh worked together as one. so great job again guys! aja!

Lock in 3 minutes. If you haven't made it by 3 minutes then your not in. Simple. 3 minutes is plenty of time, especially when the people there from beginning are using 2 haste lix. Not fair for people to show up mad late use one lix and then win item.

Someone would have to start a stopwatch for every single boss fight. What if someone shows up 5 seconds after? What if timer lags/forgets? Seems much easier to just have everyone say 'locked' at start and be done with it.

Doing it by a percentage would be even more of a mess, too.

Everyone i like the ideas, but i have one suggestion. I think it would be better as a percent, then a time. More clear to people who show up later in the fight and dont know if the time has passed, because the time would have to be shouted and its possible to miss it from just getting there. And theres a chance timer can lag or something, and no one would know if people who showed up were late or not.
