The dexterity was actually incredibly useful, and for the first time that i'm actually using dexterity, I was really impressed. I was easily dodging 1 in 5 attacks from 180+ mobs.
The other thing to consider is that although the 1000 ability gives around about the same damage boost as the 200 bonus focus, you have to think whether less evasion will benefit you more, or higher energy pool. With the set I'm rocking 11k energy, and my energy is definitely diminishing at a slower rate (more starting energy and more energy regeneration from lixes mean I don't have to wait and sigil at boss fights as much). Then again, less evasions prevent complete loss of some spells.
Once we start getting extra sets, I will definitely swap my set for the ability one. But for now, I'm pretty happy with Spiritseed.
