Ive been having problems with my ranger with solo lvling. I only get 1 bar per elixer and I use hero haste and hp with a sk.

My stats (with magic ammy buff which is 100 strength and vit):
450 srength
235 dex
10 focus
370 vit

I use full frozen armor and bow with lvl 100 quiv

Jewelry:
Tali of Earth or Magic dmg event ammy
50 dmg misc
Pierce bracelets +7
40 magic dmg ring
grand longshot
royal dbl shot
royal bolas

(will get haste ring when 150 and sell off 100 quiver and use my 150 quiver in bank)

Need help!

Btw my skills are:
Longshot (maxed)
Dbl Shot (maxed)
Bolas (maxed)
Light heal (maxed)
Sharp weps (24/30)
Rapid Shot (1/30)

No didnt have money to spend and though the frozen speed would be helpful over the dmg

If you're using heroic hastes no point in putting points in rapid.

If you move 200-250 str to dex and drop long for sharpshot, you should have 3k+ attack and much higher DPS output without the need for steady aim.

If you use haste elixers, max steady or sharpen, your choice. If you dont have haste elixers, max out Rapid Shot. Rapid Shot at 35/35 will out DPS Longshot any day when leveling (in my repeatedly tested opinion).

Order of operations: Bolas (optional but necessary for most clans), Doubleshot, SharpShot, Rapid Shot /Haste , recast Double then Sharp, rinse and repeat.

From 140-160, I have not found a better DPS build while lixing.

If you have a ton of haste elixers, I would replace Rapid with Sharpen Weapons since Steady Aim takes so long to cast. Don't waste your precious seconds on bolas or casting long buffs (steady, spikes) when youre on a haste. Use bolas for the 3 and 4s mobs only. At 140, you should be grinding on Boggans until you run out of Boggans.

Find a partner or a group of 2-3 and sit in the boggan room closest to your level until you are over level or out of lixes, then move to the next room. If you have a reliable group, stick to doubleshot, sharpshot and sharpen weapons.

It is painful sometimes, but I found no better way to do it. Other skills and range restrictions and long cast times are not quite as good as the consistent DPS from double, sharp, rapid/haste.

finally another person with this problem. i thought i was the only one. i get like 1 and a half bars per lix at lvl 140. my build is 505 str and the rest to vit hehe no dex for me besides the 120 added on from my quiver.
