I think the application window has already closed, and the second set of guides will be picked from those that already applied.

That being said, you don't need to be a guide to help people. If you have knowledge on the game and want to make a difference, please go ahead and post to the forums! And who knows, in the future OTM may open up the application process again. By that time you will have a reputation for helping people, and be able to put that on your application form.
